Easter Movies HOP (2011 Rated PG) Blending state-of-the-art animation with live action, Hop tells the comic tale of Fred, an out-of-work slacker who accidentally injures the Easter Bunny and must take him in as he recovers. The Bannisters are heading out on a family cruise and sending Zeus to doggie day care. Everything is going according to plan until the daycare's crosstown rival hires a trio of crooks to sabotage the fledgling business. Zeus will make some new friends and new enemies as he uses all his tricks to save the daycare and Easter! Peter Cottontail (2018 Rated PG) Peter Rabbit and his relatives live in the coun- try and spend much of their time trying to steal food from Mr. McGregor's veg- etable garden. Then Mr. McGregor dies, and the rabbits, and all the nearby wild- life, have the run of Mr. McGregor's garden and house. This fun and freedom is short-lived, as Mr. McGregor's nephew, Thomas, inherits the property and moves in. He will prove to be as deadly an enemy as his uncle. It’s the Easter Beagle Charlie Brown (1974 Rated G) With Easter coming up, the gang is hard at work getting ready for the holiday. While Snoopy is shopping for a new home for Woodstock, Peppermint Patty is having a difficult time mak- ing Easter eggs with Marcie who hasn't the slightest idea of how to do that. Here Comes Peter Cotton Tail (1971 Rated G) When the Chief Easter Bunny re- tires, he chooses Peter Cottontail as his successor. However, the reclusive Janu- ary Q. Irontail wants the position as well, seeking to revenge himself upon chil- dren everywhere for the destruction of his tail. He proposes he and Peter have a race to see who can deliver the most eggs. Due to his own carelessness and Iron- tail's meddling, Peter oversleeps and loses the job. Luckily, a strange man and a caterpillar give him access to a time machine so Peter can set things right. Un- fortunately, Irontail is there with the intention of thwarting him every step of the way. .

Zamboni Company, best known as the inventor and producer of ice resurfacing machines has had the honor of being featured in the PEANUTS comic strips for close to 20 years. Snoopy, along with Charlie Brown and his friends have long been favorites of the Zamboni Company. Charles Schulz first included the Zamboni in his famous PEANUTS comic strip in January of 1980 and Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Lucy, Marcie and Peppermint Patty have often commented on the machine with Snoopy and Woodstock becoming two of the most famous Zamboni drivers…in fact, Snoopy's outstanding and unquestioned talent as a Zamboni operator won him the prestigious World's Top Zamboni Driver award in 1991. Since 1980, Schulz has included Zamboni in 44 of his timeless and fun filled cartoons. Zamboni even played a part in the Charlie Brown film special "She's a Good Skate, Charlie Brown". In this story, which tells of Peppermint Patty's struggle to attain skating stardom, Charlie Brown states that "there are three things in life that people like to stare at: a flowing stream, a crackling fire, and a Zamboni clearing the ice" as Snoopy artfully maneuvers the resurfacer around the rink. Charles Schulz is not just a casual observer to ice-skating. As a hockey player himself, he opened his own ice rink in Santa Rosa, California (50 miles north of San Francisco) in 1969. The facility has unique attention to detail with leaded glass windows in the lobby depicting the PEANUTS characters and a picturesque interior surrounding the ice surface.
