IMPORTANT MESSAGE Tresmeer Village Agricultural Show September 1st Meeting being held at The Wilsey Down 7.30pm Thursday February 16th Nibbles

Please come along if you are interested in helping or have ideas etc ………………………………………………………………….. Well I am saving myself a fortune, still not making loads of money, but who wants loads? As long as I have enough to survive on. What that means to some may mean different to others. I have my shop here in Tresmeer. I pick up every day what I need, I do not pick up extras, and to be honest, I haven't missed those little extras that seem to work their way into my basket when at those big supermarkets! My car has not used half as much diesel, travelling 14 miles round trip to town, and I get to meet local people. My kids may think different, as not having all those “treats” that disappear as quick as you buy them, but in these times, it is good to watch the money, and as my mum used to say, “Look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves!” So why not try it for yourself, shop local, only buy what you need and save!

However, that has been covered by generous loans from Project GORILLA’s champions. To ensure we get our funds back in balance by the end of 2012, we do need to have an extra event in the Spring .. a BIG BREAKFAST! At the moment the plan is that it should be held at the Tresmeer Village Hall, date to be arranged but soon after Easter. Watch this space for the details later.
