Anche tra i fan del fumetto Disney inconsciamente le parole a un dialogo di “Asterix e il esistono due fazioni: quelli che a Lucca… si va anche giro di Gallia” (oltre che a D’Annunzio… ma non stavo con 40 di febbre e quelli che a Lucca… proprio non ce pensando a lui, giuro!) ma si sa, quando si avvicina la la fanno.     Cronologia delle storie disneyane a fumetti di Romano Scarpa Versione S5.32– 26-09-2008 Questa cronologia è la discendente diretta della primissima cronologia delle opere di Romano Scarpa, iniziata da Alberto Becattini nel 1980 sulle pagine del numero 6 della fanzine Funnies; a quel tempo la cronologia riportava solo il titolo delle storie, la loro prima pubblicazione e le ristampe conosciute. Ancora non c’era nessun dato su chi le avesse scritte. Poi nel 1982 Franco Fossati pubblicò il suo indice sulle pagine di IF, e questo fornì molti nuovi dati che finirono sulla seconda versione di Becattini della cronologia: quella pubblicata nel 1988 in appendice al volume Romano Scarpa – Un cartoonist italiano tra animazione e fumetti. Un’errata corrige e addenda a questa versione verrà poi pubblicata nel 1992 sul numero 9 di Marvel Series Notiziario. Passa qualche anno e nel 1998 si presenta l’occasione di pubblicare la cronologia su una pubblicazione Disney “ufficiale”: i Maestri Disney. E infatti in appendice ai numeri dei Maestri Disney dedicati a Scarpa viene pubblicata a puntate (tuttora incompleta) la cronologia, questa volta anche parzialmente illustrata. Infine, la versione più recente di Becattini, compare in appendice al volume Romano Scarpa – Sognando la Calidornia, del 2001. Nel 2005, dopo la scomparsa di Scarpa, sul numero 132 di Fumo di China viene pubblicata a cura mia e di Luca Boschi una versione riveduta e ridotta della stessa (ancora una volta ricorretta e integrata) che aggiunge una novità: la numerazione cronologica (in ordine di pubblicazione) delle storie. Ad accompagnarla un articolo di Luca Boschi che ripercorre più in dettaglio la “storia” delle cronologie scarpiane.
