These conditions apply to all guests attending Christmas programme events (‘Event’). 2. All Events are subject to availability. 3. All provisional Christmas programme bookings must be confirmed within 7 days of booking and a deposit of £15.00 per person (£50.00 per person for New Year’s Eve) is payable with confirmation. 4. All bookings must also be accompanied by a signed booking form and any bookings not confirmed after 7 days will be released without further notification. 5. All balances must be paid in full prior to Monday 1st November 2010, with the exception of any bookings for events held in January 2011, which must be paid by Friday 26th November 2010. All bookings made after these dates must be paid in full within 7 days of booking or, if the booking is less than 7 days from date of the Event, payment in full is required immediately. 6. The rate for the Event and any accommodation shall be the rate detailed in the confirmation of booking supplied by the hotel which may be sent by fax, post or email. Children are charged as detailed in brochure. 7. All prices shown are inclusive of VAT, but may be subject any other relevant taxes/levies at the current prevailing rate in force on the date of the Event. Prices advertised are subject to change prior to booking. 8. Except as set out below, we regret that all payments received, including deposits, are non-refundable and non-transferable. 9. We regret that should your party size decrease in numbers, payments (including deposits) cannot be offset against food, beverage or accommodation. 10. If the final amount is not settled in advance (see terms in clause 5 above) the hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking. 11. In the unlikely event that the hotel is obliged to cancel the Event, all monies will be refunded or an alternative date or location will be offered (at the hotel’s discretion), without any further liability to the hotel or Hilton. 12. Special requests (e.g. dietary requirements) must be made known to the hotel at least 14 days before the Event. 13. No additional food or beverage of any kind is permitted into the hotel by party organisers or guests. 14. All data and information relating to guests is subject to the Privacy Policy set out in full on the Hilton website. 15. Hilton and/or the hotel will endeavour to ensure that all the information and prices are accurate both on Hilton’s websites and in its brochures. However occasionally errors occur and Hilton and/or the hotels reserve the right to correct prices or other information in such circumstances. If a booking has already been made, the hotels are entitled to cancel the booking without liability. 16. These conditions shall be governed by English law and the courts of England will have exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. 17. Any accommodation booked shall be subject to our hotel booking terms and conditions (available at hilton.co.uk). Once your provisional booking has been made a £25.00 (unless otherwise stated) deposit per person is required within 14 days to confirm the booking. All deposits are non-refundable nor transferable. 2. Should numbers reduce between the time of booking and making the final payment, deposits already paid cannot be used against the final balance, these deposits will be lost. 3. The final balance is due on Friday 5th November 2010.Once the final balance has been paid, all monies are neither refundable nor transferable if numbers are reduced. 4. Privilege Card discounts do not apply to any Christmas functions in either the restaurant or function suites. 5. Hilton Templepatrick reserves the right to cancel an event. In this eventuality, a full refund will be given or an alternative date or location will be offered. 6. Bookings made within two weeks of the event require immediate full payment to confirm place. 7.     Belfast on the Move: Transport Masterplan for Belfast City Centre The South Belfast Partnership Board are supportive of the overall aims of the proposed Masterplan, particularly the need to improve the ease and safety for pedestrians and cyclists accessing and moving around the city centre, improving public transport services, reducing the impact of traffic and maximizing opportunities to create a high quality public realm within the city centre. We are committed to supporting the key principles within the Belfast Metropolitan Transport Plan 2015, which we believe are adequately embedded within the draft Masterplan. Within this context, we would like to take this opportunity to make a number of comments in relation to both the Sustainable Transport Enabling Measures and the longer-term proposals for delivering a high quality transport system for the City Centre. Sustainable Transport Enabling Measures We understand that the Sustainable Transport Enabling Measures are part of a longer terms strategy to improve the pedestrian environment and public transport services within the City Centre. However, whilst we would welcome most of the changes proposed, which we believe will help to improve cycling and walking and the reliability of bus services, we would wish to raise concerns regarding the proposed traffic management to the west side of the City Centre. Firstly, it is unclear from the proposals whether the lower section of Sandy Row, from Hope Street to Grosvenor Road, will remain two-way or be converted to a one- way street. Assuming that it remains as it currently is, we would have concerns that the existing road lacks the capacity to carry the increased traffic flow that is likely to result from the proposals.

In Northern Ireland, there is a history of heavy reliance on the private car as a means of travel. However, in recent years Belfast has witnessed many improvements in the city’s transportation system, in terms of roads, public transport and walking and cycling. As Belfast continues to grow and modernise, continued developments and major enhancements to our transport infrastructure are still required. The need to integrate transportation and land use to maximise development around quality sustainable transport networks is an essential element of the local development plan. The responsibility for transport policies and initiatives lies with the Department for Infrastructure (DfI) (formerly Department for Regional Development (DRD)). During the plan-making process the Council will be required to work closely with DfI to incorporate transport policy and initiatives into the Plan. The Local Development Plan (LDP) will need to be consistent with the objectives of the Regional Development Strategy (RDS) 2035 and relevant Transport Plans. The Register is available for use by the public in the Commission’s office. Under the legislation, public authorities as specified by the Office of the First Minister and the Deputy First Minister are automatically treated as registered with the Commission. All other employers have a duty to register if they have more than 10 employees working 16 hours or more per week. Employers who meet the conditions for registration are given one month in which to apply for registration. This month begins from the end of the week in which the concern employed more than 10 employees in Northern Ireland. It is a criminal offence for such an employer not to apply for registration within this period. This essay considers the changes that have taken place in the murals of Northern Ireland over the past decade or so. It will be argued that although there have been important developments in the murals that reflect the consolidation of ‘peace’ during this period, the walls also tell a different story. It will be shown that, perhaps predictably, given the paralysis and stagnation that have characterised the power-sharing arrangements, and the disillusionment, cynicism and bitterness towards the political settlement which is now evident, a number of murals offer representations that indicate the growth of tendencies that present latent but real dangers. El ensayo considera los cambios que han tenido lugar en los murales de Irlanda del Norte en la última década más o menos.
