40 Baskethall '70·'71 Tulane's basketball picture brightens considerably with All-American John Sutter r e turning along with a nucleus of veteran players plus some outstanding new talent from a strong Freshman team . Sut ter became the highest scor ing junior in Tulane h istory last year with 558 points for a 24 .3 average . The schedule , while slightly less dem and ing than last year , continues to rank among the nation 's toughest . But look for Ralph Pedersen 's team to make a T I big improvement on that 5-18 Coach Ralph Pedersen showing .

45 Rejoiee ... or groan ... with Wayne Sunday nights after eaeh gaIDe!

Now-Filmed highlights of the Saints' games only a few hours after the battle. Ever since our Saints hit the field four seasons, Wayne ago Mack and WDSU-TV have led the way with in-depth team coverage.

Maybe it's because Wayne was the first sportscaster or reporter to go to a Saints' T raining Camp that the players still open up to him first. He 's followed them for us from the beginning. Knows what they've been through . Seen the best make it with this young club. Gained the confidence and respect of the men who wear our c ity 's uniforms . You see it in his afternoon and evening sports strips . And now you'll see even more . . .
