INTRODUCING THE FOURTH MEMBER OF THE HALL OF FAME CLASS OF 2018: of DENIS McCARTHY (MM#853)

The Main Maniacs would like to official introduce you to the newest member of the Maniac Hall of Fame. Denis McCarthy becomes the 35th member to be inducted into the Hall of Fame in the ninth class of Hall of Famers.

Denis (MM#853) who lives in Missouri has been a Maniac since March 2008 and has run 337 (as of September 30, 2018). She has earned Titanium status four times!

Nick Kerri How to Upgrade Your Level Have you run enough races to have earned a Level Upgrade? Congratulations on your race finishes, however your work is not quit finished.

In order to maintain the integrity of the club, in April of 2018 we have implemented a review board of fellow Maniac volunteers that review each and every one of your races to ensure it meets the criteria.

You may be asking why we implemented this? Unfortunately we’ve had many members that were taking advantage of the “honor system” process we had in place for many years. In order for the new review process to work correctly, we need to set a few guidelines

1978-2018 On September 24, 2018, the Marathon Maniac family lost one of it’s own. Jodi Cullen (MM#2937) of Portland, Oregon lost her battle with cancer. She had been battling the cancer for a while. Jodi had an infectious, positive attitude and was a huge dog lover. Operating her own dog walking business.

The Main Maniacs decided to create an asylum dedicated to those who are Double Agents. In order to be assigned a Double Agent number you must have your dues paid and updated in both the MM and HF. Your name and e-mail address must match both clubs. Each day a program will run to generate new members.

New gear is available for Double Agents as well as a whole new set of challenges as you climb peaks.
