1. As you review 1 Corinthians 13 and the message from LIFT, what is the most difficult part for you of displaying agape love toward others? Refer to 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 for a list of attributes.

4. Since we are called by God not to be unequally yoked together with unbelievers, the people we date should be growing in their walk with Christ. This means this other believer should be pointing us to Jesus just like we are pointing him/her to Jesus. How could a godly boyfriend/girlfriend display appropriate agape love? What does this kind of love reveal about them?

2. What are some of the reasons you or your friends have given for wanting to date someone? Are these great, self-less reasons or poor, selfish reasons? List some of these reasons below and label ones that are Self-less or Selfish. 5. Read Mark 12:28-31. Jesus quotes from the Old Testament what he says are the greatest commandments. How can you love God with agape love and love people with it too? To check your answer, look at 1 John 4:16-21.
