He worked closely with Ron Dean, the Secretary, and was succeeded by Colin Jones, who finalised the agreement for use of the

Cultural Centre. This is the ninth Orchestra featuring season we are launching since Dubbo Regional Sheng Yuan Theatre was officially opened in July 2010 and Saturday 6 October we are just as excited to reveal the line up as 7pm we have been in previous years. Dave was a founding member and lead vocalist of The Reels, which shot to fame in the late 70s and throughout the 80s. He wrote many songs including Quasimodo’s Dream, which in 2001 was listed by the Australian Performing Rights Association (APRA) at No. 10 of their Top 30 Australian songs of all time. Dave achieved critical acclaim as an actor in the Australian feature film Ghosts…. Of the Civil Dead, with ; and in the past few years, Dave has had multiple collaborations with some of Australia’s most respected musicians. He recently joined and Amanda Brown of The Go-Betweens to form Sandy Shores, and has been performing throughout Australia.
