The Valhalla 46 takes the V Series Naruto: V.46 an entirely new level, broadening its appeal through additional accommodations and amenities while maintaining its fishing boat DNA. The V possesses the same signature design traits S-shaped sheer, doubles chines, tumblehome transom bustleaesthetic enhancements teak toerails and transom and degree fishing prowess of the V Series. Through Naruto: V.46 port-side console door, a powder-coated pedestal with teak stair treads leads to an inviting living space. Forward, a dinette with U-shaped seating and bolstered backrest surrounds a drop-down table that converts Naruto: V.46 a queen berth. Directly aft of the galley is the private head with a molded-in vanity Naruto: V.46 freshwater sink and faucet, toilet and shower. Machinery Room The head provides access to the machinery room, which houses the 8 kW diesel generator, batteries and distribution panel, battery charger, Naruto: V.46 water heater and provides access to helm electronics. The machinery room essentially serves the same purpose as the engineroom on a Viking. The Seakeeper is accessed through a dedicated hatch on centerline forward of the lazarette, which is home to the custom-designed fuel management system and Hooker sea chest live well system. All hatches are equipped with Naruto: V.46 gasketing that sits in recessed channels for a tight seal. Helm The console, helm seating modules and the forward Naruto: V.46 are all elevated on a 7-inch-high platform, which maximizes visibility and allows for increased interior volume below. The console maintains the streamlined, clean design of the V Series, with its controls and information displays positioned for ease of access and viewing. An expansive recessed black acrylic helm panel can hold three electronics displays up to 22 inches each. A row of flush-mounted Bocatech switches with backlit labeling lines the lower dash. The engine controls and Zipwake interceptor trim control panel are positioned to starboard of the centerline helm pod available in teak or faux teak and Edson stainless steel wheel with power knob. Quick downward glances allow for regular performance checks via the high-definition engine monitor. There are port and starboard glove boxes for storage of personal items, and four convenient stainless steel cupholders are nested neatly in the console. Seating The seating opportunities on the V are diverse and Naruto: V.46 from bow to stern. Like the V, V and V, the new Valhalla features standard Costa Marine bench seating at the helm with optional Release Marine or Llebroc seating consisting of three chairs with individual armrests, folding bolsters and electric slides. The V also offers a second row of seating for up to four additional crew or guests, as well as the aft- facing mezzanine seating that has Naruto: V.46 so popular on the first three V Series models. Owners can also go with a Costa Marine bench for the second row of seating or four Release Marine or Llebroc chairs with shared armrests, folding bolsters and electric slides. The second row is elevated another 3 inches and has Naruto: V.46 footrest area for enhanced visibility and comfort. GG Schmitt transom seats are also available. The three-person lounge integrated into the console has folding armrests and a leg-elevating design. The port and starboard forward seats feature available Release Marine teak backrests. Naruto: V.46 deck layout was also designed with a centerline Naruto: V.46 platform for increased access to the anchor locker and ground tackle, and it also provides a convenient elevated position for casting. Fishability The hardtop package is loaded with top-shelf components for both fishing and navigation, including Lumitec Mirage Naruto: V.46 lights, overhead lights, a molded-in radar pod, a six-rod rocket launcher and an integrated overhead electronics pod in the hardtop above the helm. Aesthetic enhancements include a white powder-coated Naruto: V.46 frame and the option to have the hardtop underside match the hull color. The Valhalla 46 can be outfitted with a custom Palm Beach Towers gap tower or fold-down marlin tower with removable sunshade. Live bait anglers will be impressed. Dual gallon transom live wells anchor the cockpit. Inlet and discharge fittings are located in the cockpit corners for additional on-deck live well capacity. An in-deck live well is available in lieu of the Seakeeper, and the forward section of the lounge seating can also serve as a live well. Six standard stainless steel Gemlux rod holders line the cockpit coaming, and you can add more along the coamings forward. Convenience options include a bow thruster, anchor chute with stainless steel anchor and windlass, a teak deck for the raised platform seating area, mezzanine step and forward step, underwater lights, a Costa Marine sunshade and a Reverso automatic outboard flushing system. Both packages utilize fly-by-wire Naruto: V.46 power steering and are available with joystick control and GPS station-keeping systems. With a nearly gallon fuel capacity, the V has the legs for long trips to the canyons or extended Naruto: V.46 and diving in the islands. Keiichi Sato The Big O character and mecha designer/supervisor. He has worked with director Kazuyoshi Katayama since Giant Robo, and has also worked on the City Hunter TV special. Hitoshi Ariga The Big O manga artist (see inside front cover for more information). The Big O is finally starting to be released on video/DVD. Ariga: I‟d like people who weren‟t able to catch it on TV to take this opportunity to check it out Sato: Even people who dismissed it by just saying “I don‟t have cable.” [The Big O was originally shown in Japan on the Wowow cable channel—Ed.] But I guess that‟s how it is. When you can‟t see it, it‟s sour grapes. Ariga: I was hoping that the manga would help to get people interested. Y. Lee and Julian Stringer Abstract: In his article ‘Screenwriting for Sound’, Randy Thom makes a persuasive case that sound designers should be involved in film production ‘as early as the screenplay…early participation of sound can make a big difference’. Drawing on a critically neglected yet internationally significant example of a creative alliance between a director and post- production team, this article demonstrates that early participation happens in innovative ways in today’s globally competitive South Korean film industry. This key argument is presented through close analysis of the ongoing collaboration between Live Tone - the leading audio postproduction studio in South Korea – and internationally acclaimed director Bong Joon-ho, who has worked with the company on all six of his feature films to date. Their creative alliance has recently ventured into new and ambitious territory as audio studio and director have risen to the challenge of designing the sound for the two biggest films in Korean movie history, Snowpiercer and Okja. Both of these large-scale multi-language movies were planned at the screenplay stage via coordinated use of Live Tone’s singular development of ‘film sound maps’. It is this close and efficient interaction between audio company and client that has helped Bong and Live Tone bring to maturity their plans for the two films’ highly challenging soundscapes.

    INTERVISTA A MASASHI KISHIMOTO In Giappone i manga (fumetti giapponesi) sono molto popolari,anzi fanno parte della loro cultura, esistono molti mangaka famosi. Oggi siamo a Tokyo,ospitati nello studio di Masashi Kishimoto, autore di Naruto, che ci concede gentilmente un’intervista mentre lavora alle sue tavole. Masashi Kishimoto, nato a Nagi l’8 novembre del 1974, è stato influenzato, come tutti i bambini, da molti anime(cartoni animati giapponesi), soprattutto Doraemon. Fin da piccolo era evidente il suo interesse per il disegno, tanto che aiutava volentieri i suoi amici che condividevano la sua passione, spesso criticando anche il loro modo di disegnare. Prese spunto da molti elementi: videogiochi,altri fumetti ecc. Arrivato alle medie, a causa dei compiti, non poteva disegnare. Un giorno, mentre passeggiava, vide la pubblicità di un noto manga: Akira. Da qui in poi migliorò sempre più fino ad oggi. Allora sig. Kishimoto, se posso chiamarla così, come crede che prenderanno la fine del suo manga più famoso ovvero Naruto, i suoi fan? “Puoi chiamarmi per nome. Di certo loro sanno che il manga sta per finire, non so come la prenderanno, anche perché ho deciso che non continuerò questa serie.” Sono sicuro che saranno un po’ tristi, non pensi? In ogni caso, ci farai stupire sempre di più? Cosa ci aspetteremo nel finale? “Sicuramente continuerò a dare il meglio soprattutto per questi ultimi capitoli. Per il finale non posso rivelarti nulla!” Ah! Speravo almeno un indizio, aspetterò comunque. Una domanda che affligge i lettori da molto tempo: vedremo mai il volto del personaggio di Kakashi? “Non ci avevo pensato! Ormai sono abituato a disegnarlo con la maschera, quindi non saprei, anzi potrei farvi una bella sorpresa.” Quali sono stati i tuoi primi lavori? “Erano fatti per conto mio, li feci vedere a mio padre e mio fratello, ma i giudizi erano tutti negativi!” Per quanto riguarda invece le opere pubblicate? “La mia prima opera pubblicata è stata Karakuri, pubblicato su Weekley Shonen Jump, con cui vinsi il premio Hop Step indetto dalla stessa rivista.
