:: Our why DEFINES our what.

Luke 10:38-42 As and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named opened her home to him. 39 She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said. 40 But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!” 41 “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, 42 but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”

:: Simplicity is developed in STILLNESS not busyness.

Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that God.

So What?

1) S TOP…and focus.

Isaiah 30:15 This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: "In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it.

2) D ROP…what’s not.

Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

3) R OLL…like Jesus.

Colossians 3:17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

What needs to change in your calendar to choose BETTER things?

John 17:4 I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do. NOTES:

“Learn to say 'no' to the good so you can say 'yes' to the best.” - John C. Maxwell

How to start a relationship with Jesus:

1) Admit that you, like everyone else, are a sinner. 2) Ask for forgiveness from God. 3) Start a relationship with God by trusting in Jesus as Savior and Lord.

You can do that right now by simply talking to God in a prayer like this:

Dear Lord Jesus: I know I am a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe you died for my sins and rose from the dead. I trust and follow you as my Lord and Savior. Guide my life and help me to do your will. I give all I am to all of you. In your name I pray, amen.
