You enclosed a list of all the events in the next five years which you say Events for London could bid for. However, it remains unclear which of the events are realistic for London – I would think it unlikely that London would be a front-runner for the All Africa Games or the South Pacific Games, for example. You may also be interested to know that a number of the events in your list have already been awarded – the 2015 Summer Universiade is being held in Gwangju, South Korea, the 2011 Men's Handball Championship is taking place in Sweden and the 2015 Pan American Games will be in Toronto. I think a more detailed response would be appropriate, setting out which events London is actually likely to submit a bid for. Additionally, I would be grateful if you could let me know when the five-year strategy you mention will be completed and send me a copy as soon as it is. Please could you respond to me, copying in the Committee Co-ordinator (details below). Yours sincerely, John Biggs AM Chairman of the Budget and Performance Committee Contact: John Barry, Committee Co-ordinator 020 7983 4425 [email protected] .
