Cook time: 20 Min Prep time: 20 Min Yield: Three 8” x 11”

Ingredients: 6 c sifted (6T for altitude) 3/4 tsp cloves 6 cups brown , packed firm 4 1/2 tsp powder 2 cups , room temp 11 /2 tsp baking soda 1 1/2 tsp salt 6 whole eggs, well beaten 1 Tbsp 3 cups buttermilk 11/2 tsp nutmeg 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions: 1. Rub together with a wooden spoon the flour, sugar, butter, and salt.

2. Then remove 2 1/4 cups to separate bowl to be used for the crumb topping. Add 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon to the crumb topping. Next, prepare the cake.

3. To the rest of the original mixture add the , baking powder and soda.

4. Beat six eggs well and mix with the buttermilk. Add the milk and eggs to the dry ingredients and mix well.

5. Por into the three cake pans, dividing evenly.

6. Then sprinkle the streusel mixture evenly on the top of the cakes.

7. Bake for a total of 20 minutes in the following manner: 400 degrees for 5 minutes 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

To Freeze: After each has completely cooled, wrap tightly with saran wrap then foil and label.

Note: If you love the streusel more than the cake, might suggest doubling the amount of streusel on the cake.

Ingredients: 2 c sifted flour (2T for altitude) 1/4 tsp cloves 2 c brown sugar, packed firm 1 1/2 tsp baking powder 2/3 c butter, room temp 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 2 whole eggs, well beaten 1 tsp cinnamon 1 c buttermilk 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1/2 tsp cinnamon

5. Pour into the cake pan.
