Garg - Editor Independence Day Celebrations at Deer Park Senior citizens Welfare Society, Netaji Subhash Chander Bose Community Center, Shalimar Bagh organised a health talk for their members on 13-8- 2014 at Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh. Dr. Manoj Arora, Deptt of Nephrology delivered a very informative talk on ailments on account of various reasons which effect the functioning of our Kidneys. Dr Arora very patiently replied to various queries of the participant. Capt. Chander Sachdev, General Secretary of the Society thanked Dr Arora and Staff Fortis Hospital for its hospitality. New Body of Om Senior Citizens Rohini Senior Citizens Council of Delhi organized 68th Independence Day celebrations at Deer Park on 15-08-2014 in which more than 400 senior citizens/children participated. The National Flag was unfurled by Chief Guest Dr. Yoganand Shastri, former Speaker, Delhi Vidhan Sabha & J.R. Gupta, President of the Council along with other participants. On this occasion, patriotic songs were also recited by eminent singer Mrs. Anima Sinha which were appreciated by all present. Dr. Yoganand Shastri remembered freedom fighters for their sacrifices to get Independence on 15th August, 1947. J.R.
