Six years later, with her marriage in serious difficulty, Alfred Hitchcock offers her the chance to return to Hollywood to play the role of Marnie in his next film. But France is also threatening to annex Monaco, the tiny principality where she became the Princess. Grace is torn and forced to choose between the creative flame that still burns within her and her role as Her Serene Highness, Princess of Monaco. INTERVIEW WITH OLIVIER DAHAN “I was interested in telling how a torn woman finds it impossible – or at least very hard – to find the right balance between her life as a wife, a mother and a woman and her career” What did you find appealing about GRACE OF MONACO? Is it particularly difficult to direct an actress like her? Apart from anything else, it is the fact that she was an actress and an artist who had to give up on her career. -

I would also like to thank Professor Filson for his help and support during the development and execution of this thesis. Abstract This thesis will discuss the emerging influence of film review aggregators and their effect on the changing landscape for reviews in the film industry. Specifically, this study will look at the top 150 domestic grossing films of 2010 to empirically study the effects of two specific review aggregators. A time-delayed approach to regression analysis is used to measure the influencing effects of these aggregators in the long run. Subsequently, other factors crucial to predicting film success are also analyzed in the context of sustained earnings. -

Research has tracked the movies released theatrically in the U.S. to determine where they were filmed, why they filmed in the locations they did and how much was spent to produce them. We do this to help businesspeople and policymakers, particularly those with investments in California, better understand the state’s place in the competitive business environment that is feature film production. For reasons described later in this report’s methodology section, FilmL.A. adopted a different film project sampling method for 2016. This year, our sample is based on the top 100 feature films at the domestic box office released theatrically within the U.S. during the 2016 calendar -

NARRATING THE MOVEMENT: A RHETORICAL ANALYSIS ON THE DIGITAL MOBILIZATION, REMIX, AND HIJACK OF #METOO ROCKY ROQUE 129 Pages The Me Too movement garnered digital disclosures after Alyssa Milano’s initial tweet in October 2017. Over the period of two years, different remixes of #MeToo surfaced which led to the subsequent hijack of the hashtag. Furthermore, Boyle (2019) argued that the movement can be studied as a “moment” or a “discourse.” Scholars have examined Me Too as a moment, or a singular occurrence that emerged due to mainstream popularity. However, this analysis will study the movement as a discourse, to reveal the intricate interactions present with each remixed hashtag. Through Fisher’s narrative paradigm, an in-depth analysis was conducted to examine how Twitter disclosures contain narrative coherence and fidelity.
