Pleasant Grove gathers for school giveaway A small group of people in Pleasant Grove saw the need to come together and worked hard on the Back-to-School Bash for the community. Bags of school supplies were given out and kids got to cool off on the water slide. The neighbors also awarded 10 bingo winners and gave away one special basket (pictured above with Alfreda Blake). Special guests included County Commissioner Kenny Thompson (also pictured above) and Tax Collector Teresa Phillips. The Pleasant Grove community thanks God and everyone who gave from the heart to make the event a success for the young dreamers.
