Scanners can range in price from $50.00 - $350.00 or more depending on where you purchase them. The scanner you purchase should be a free standing scanner that patients can simply put their card under for it to be scanned. Be sure you get a user manual or configuration manual with your scanner so it can be configured. Among some of the places to purchase scanners online are nationalbarcode.com, posguys.com, barcodediscount.com, and CDW.com; to name a few. Additional places may be Ebay.com or Amazon.com. This will allow patients to check-in to the ChiroWrite Kiosk allowing information to be captured before the patient ever enters the treatment room. Similar to the scanners, these key tags can range in price, style and volume. Depending on how many plastic key tags you are purchasing companies will give you a discount if you purchase more at one time.
