Oil-tolerant sticks provide maximum reliability for threaded assemblies

New Generation of Loctite Threadlocker Sticks

Formulated as wax-like, semi-solid packaged in a self-feeding stick applicator, Loctite 248 and Loctite 268 Threadlocker Sticks provide robust cure even on oil-contaminated or inactive metals like stainless steel. Only offers these convenient stick threadlockers for use in different maintenance, repair and overhaul applications.

Users of the new anaerobic threadlocker sticks can rely on their performance even if parts are oil-contaminated. In many cases the use of an activator is no longer necessary because Loctite 248 and Loctite 268 show excellent performance on inactive metals like stainless steel. Formulated as wax-like, semi-solid adhesives packaged in a self-feeding stick applicator, these convenient and portable products will not leak or drip when carried in a pocket, stored in a toolbox or used in an overhead application. The sticks are designed and as easy to use as Henkel’s well- known Sticks for consumers.

Loctite 248 and 268 threadlocker sticks deliver the same proven performance as the well-known liquid Loctite threadlockers: they secure threaded assemblies, fill gaps between threads, and prevent loosening, leaks and corrosion.

Medium Strength Blue Threadlocker and High Strength Red Threadlocker Stick When Loctite 248 Medium Strength Blue Threadlocker Stick is applied to a threaded fastener, it can be disassembled using hand tools. This anaerobic is typically used for machine tools, presses, pumps, compressors, mounting bolts and gear boxes that require maintenance or servicing.
