GEORGIANA GUY-RODRIGUES BIOGRAPHY Besides of being the daughter of ROSE MARIE and BOBBY GUY, Georgiana (whose nick- name is Noopy) is also a television producer. Having grown up in a show business family, Noopy decided many years ago to have a career “behind the camera.” She always felt more comfortable behind the camera rather than in front of it. Originally hired by Rudy Tellez (the original producer of THE TONIGHT SHOW w/Johnny Carson), to be his Executive Assistant, Rudy started THE TOMORROW SHOW with Tom Sny- der. When Rudy left the show, Joel Tator, became the producer. It was Joel who gave Noopy her first producing job. She started producing segments for the show until the show moved perma- nently to New York. She then moved on to produce shows for Independent Production Companies, and Associate Produced a show called The Saturday Show for KNBC where she produced over 60 live remotes. She also produced some segments at KCBS, including a segment on 4 Girls 4 for TWO ON THE TOWN with Steve Edwards. Some of that footage can be seen in her Mother’s documentary WAIT FOR YOUR LAUGH. She married Steven Rodrigues, a director that she met when she was doing The Saturday Show. Steve recently retired after 44 years of working at NBC. He has won three Emmy’s and 8 Golden Mikes for his work directing news programs, both nationally and local. When Noopy isn’t working, she is also a gifted equestrian having won many national and local titles in the Western Division. She owns and raises Quarter Horses at her ranch in Agua Dulce. She was the first woman President of the Pacific Coast Horse ShowsAssn. and continues to be on the Board of Directors as First Vice President. She still enjoys working behind the camera, and is very much involved with her mother’s documentary. She is proud and thrilled that her mother’s 90 year career is finally being brought to the big screen by Jason Wise and Forgotten Man Films. Having been approached by various film makers, it was Georgiana that gave the final go-ahead to Jason and his team to document her mother’s career. An exceptional career equaled by no other woman in show business. Something she is very proud to state. .
