SEXTON HENRY 2 Dam: GEORGE TEIGN PRIMULA 96 gd. GEORGE TEIGN (SWIG) PRIMULA 66 Vendor Notes:- Out of wonderful specimen cows on both sides of his background with Edmeston Homer as the grand sire on the male side. I don’t keep bulls for more than 3 calf crops, he has just finished his third season of use. His stretchy and growthy calves are easily born, I have assisted (not all would have needed assistance) 1 in ten births and the only loss was his first birth which was a set of twins, born unassisted but dead on arrival out of a cow who always had to be riding other cows, so no surprise. His calves are easily born and he has good fertility, soundness of structure, excellent feet and a superb temperament and has plenty of use left in him yet. He came out of his cow herd after the first week of September and has had 3-4lb corn per day since as grass has been limited. If fed up this bull is a very large and impressive animal exhibiting very good breed points. He has been kept commercially. 4. HILLSON CENTURION 2 Dam: HILLSON FINESSE 41 gd. HILLSON FINESSE 31 Vendor Notes:- He is out of registered pedigree stock other than through his grandmother who was from a non registering moorland herd. I can supply all the breeding of that line going back 5-6 generations if needed but there would be some back registrations to pay for which is why he isn’t registered. His dam is a very hard working cow who consistently produces quality stock, they are always born very normal and unassisted but develop exceptional quality as they grow, she has the largest fluffiest ears imaginable, a desirable trait for some breeders! He has Edmeston Hero 10 on the male side and Hillson Centurion on the female side. COW & CALF SHILLINGHAM FARM PARTNERS Shillingham Manor Farm, Antony Passage, Saltash. 5k Environmentol Protection Report WATER QUALITY MONITORING LOCATIONS 1992 April 1992 FW P/9 2/ 0 0 1 Author: B Steele Technicol Assistant, Freshwater NRA National Rivers Authority CVM Davies South West Region Environmental Protection Manager HATER QUALITY MONITORING LOCATIONS 1992 _ . - - TECHNICAL REPORT NO: FWP/92/001 The maps in this report indicate the monitoring locations for the 1992 Regional Water Quality Monitoring Programme which is described separately. The presentation of all monitoring features into these catchment maps will assist in developing an integrated approach to catchment management and operation. The water quality monitoring maps and index were originally incorporated into the Catchment Action Plans. They provide a visual presentation of monitored sites within a catchment and enable water quality data to be accessed easily by all departments and external organisations. The maps bring together information from different sections within Water Quality. The routine river monitoring and tidal water monitoring points, the licensed waste disposal sites and the monitored effluent discharges (pic, non-plc, fish farms, COPA Variation Order [non-plc and pic]) are plotted. The type of discharge is identified such as sewage effluent, dairy factory, etc. Additionally, river impact and control sites are indicated for significant effluent discharges. If the watercourse is not sampled then the location symbol is qualified by (*). Additional details give the type of monitoring undertaken at sites (ie chemical, biological and algological) and whether they are analysed for more specialised substances as required by: a. EC Dangerous Substances Directive b. EC Freshwater Fish Water Quality Directive c. DOE Harmonised Monitoring Scheme d. DOE Red List Reduction Programme c.
