Al acercarse a las nociones de identidad y de valoración del cuerpo, es necesario evaluarlas en términos de tiempo y espacio, porque el cuerpo humano es, fundamentalmente, una representación del yo mismo en los sucesos de la vida cotidiana. El cuerpo humano se evalúa en tiempo y en espacio, pero también se evalúa por medio de las estructuras del poder dominante en el que funciona. En el ámbito político español de la postguerra de la Guerra Civil, en el que el acceso a todas las formas de capital estaba restringido por la censura, la ideología dominante impuso un credo político único, una religión unitaria forzada y estrictas reglas morales, para controlar a la población y para promover sumisión. En este contexto, la ideología política y el credo religioso se convirtieron en herramientas de propaganda para la regulación de los posibles agentes y disposiciones disidentes, que se encontrasen en todos los estratos sociales. En medio de este proceso, junto al factor del Nacionalcatolicismo, el papel jugado por la música y las canciones Falangistas –y sus connotaciones sensoriales e históricas- demarcaron las fronteras socio-políticas, que definieron categóricamente la identidad de género y todas sus ramificaciones. El diferencial de género en España a raíz de la Guerra Civil estuvo dominado por roles construidos artificialmente, basados en existencialismo biológico, y la determinación de género –en particular el género femenino- estuvo también definido por las presiones de las circunstancias históricas que negaban la iniciativa individual. -

The pact was initially a political decision, but was given legal legitimacy in the Ley De Amnistía. The decree prevented any accountability for the people who were killed, tortured, and exiled during the civil war. It pardoned those (even far-right military commanders) who were involved in the regime, allowed those who were exiled to return to Spain, and has prevented the nation from investigating human rights violations under the dictatorship. Further, the pact prevented any observation of the war or any commission to look into who bore responsibility for the war (Encarnación). Regardless, memory is crucial in order to understand the past of a nation and its trajectory moving forward. -

L 327/78 FR Jour nal officiel de l’Union européenne 17.12.2019 DÉCISION (UE) 2019/2157 DU CONSEIL du 10 décembre 2019 portant nomination des membres et suppléants du Comité des régions pour la période allant du 26 janvier 2020 au 25 janvier 2025 LE CONSEIL DE L’UNION EUROPÉENNE, vu le traité sur le fonctionnement de l’Union européenne, et notamment son article 300, paragraphe 3, et son article 305, vu la décision (UE) 2019/852 du Conseil du 21 mai 2019 arrêtant la composition du Comité des régions (1), vu les propositions faites par chaque État membre, considérant ce qui suit: (1) L’article 300, paragraphe 3, du traité prévoit que le Comité des régions est composé de représentants des collectivités régionales et locales qui sont soit titulaires d’un mandat électoral au sein d’une collectivité régionale ou locale, soit politiquement responsables devant une assemblée élue. (2) L’article 305 du traité prévoit que les membres du Comité des régions ainsi qu’un nombre égal de suppléants sont nommés par le Conseil pour un mandat de cinq ans conformément aux propositions faites par chaque État membre. (3) Le mandat des membres et suppléants du Comité des régions venant à expiration le 25 janvier 2020, il convient de procéder à la nomination de nouveaux membres et suppléants. EXPLAINING GENDER PARITY REPRESENTATION IN SPAIN: THE INTERNAL DYNAMICS OF PARTIES Monica Threlfall, Loughborough University Paper presented at the European Consortium for Political Research Conference, Budapest, 8-10 September 2005. (Minimally edited version of the draft distributed at ECPR) Abstract: This paper sheds light on the reasons for the rise of women in party politics and public office using the case of Spain and the PSOE as a case study. Structural explanations and the conditioning influence of the electoral system are reviewed before focusing on institutional and party-political explanations. It argues that a key factor in explaining the success of the gender parity project in Spain was its effective implementation at national and regional level in the PSOE, and that this was secured via internal party procedures and controversially, by elite intra-party leadership. The paper then considers how party leaders can be persuaded to implement quotas, suggesting that gender balance in elective office became an instrument of renewal and re-legitimation for a party facing political stagnation. The paper therefore takes the general discussion of parity into the realm of implementation problems, yet argues that parity can be envisaged not as an ‘ethical burden’ to parties, but as a factor of revitalisation and reconnection with the electorate.
