THE COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, BOROUGH OF SWALE) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT No.6) ORDER 2017 Notice is hereby given that intend to make the above Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1) and (2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the chief officer of police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act: The Order will Amend the Kent County Council (Various Roads, Borough of Swale) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2016 by (a) installing double yellow lines on the junction of Place and London Road in , Filer Road and Danley Road, Halfway, the junction of Main Road and Sterling Road, , the junction of Cowper Road and Thomas Road and the southern junction of College Road and Homewood Avenue, in , including a short section of additional lining on the western side of College Road; extending the double yellow lines on the eastern side of Fairview Road Sittingbourne, between 2 and 12, and extending the double yellow lines around the entrance and side of Swimming Pool, and extending the double yellow lines in Ranelagh Road Sheerness, from the junction with Strode Crescent at the side of the Funeral Directors; (b) removing two short sections of double yellow lines outside 29 and 22 Harold Road, Sittingbourne; (c) removing two short sections of single yellow line in Millfield Road, Faversham, near the Road junction; (d) installing two new Residents’ Parking bays on the eastern side of The Mall, Faversham, opposite George House and extending the existing bay on the western side near Mall House by 5 metres; (e) installing new, or formalising existing disabled persons’ parking bays outside of 40 Lionfield in Faversham, 43 Coronation Road, 51 Invicta Road, and 56 Winstanley Road in Sheerness, in Bell Road near Spicer Homes and outside of 23 Epps Road in Sittingbourne; (f) removing existing disabled persons’ parking bays outside of 53 Canute Road in Faversham, outside 118 and 137 Coronation Road in Sheerness, outside 11 Stanley Road in Queenborough, and outside of 21 Bayford Road, 151A and 173 Park Road and 78 Tonge Road in Sittingbourne. The Order will include some wording changes of an administrative matter which will make no alterations to existing parking and waiting restrictions, and will require no changes to existing parking lines or signs.
