6:15 p.m. THE PR1:..SID.h.NT arrives Andrews Air Force Base, boards Air Force One and departs enroute Philadelphia International Airport, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Johnny Bench, National League Catcher, and Thurmon Munson, American League Catcher, move to baseline position to catch opening pitches.

8:28 p.m. THE PRE.SID.E.NT accepts a ball from Robin Roberts, and throws the first ball to Thurmon Munson. The second ball is accepted from "Bob Len10l1 and •l:hrowu to Johnny Bench.
