This highway runs from Bangalore to  Reach at midnight . Hassan district is famous for temples built during Hoysala.

Shravanabelagola

Mulyangiri

Mullayanagiri (also spelt as Mullayyanagiri or Mullayangiri) is the highest peak of Karnataka state located in Bababudangiri range of Chikmagalur. Mullayanagiri is just 12 Km from Chikmagalaur. Mullayanagiri is part of the Baba Budan Giri Hill Ranges. The height of Mullayanagiri is 6330 ft (1,930 meters) and it is regarded as the highest peak between and Nilgiris. There is a small temple dedicated to Lord Shiva on top of the hill. The small hillock in the temple premises is the highest point in Karnataka. Mullayanagiri is atrekker's paradise. Trekking at this place is a memorable experience. You can feel the intensity of cold wind hitting you.

Jarri waterfalls

Jarri Falls is one of the must-watch places in Chikmagalur. From Mullayanagiri, on the way to Datthapeeta or Kemmannagundi road, you will spot these falls on the left hand side. You will have to walk a kilometer after you park your vehicle. Jarri Falls is set in a bewitching backdrop, amidst the thickest of greenery and natural habitat. It is really a blessing for lovers of nature. Sweet waters running down the steep rocks and deep ravines form a perfect bass for the celestial tune, along with the passing breezes making their way out of the thick woods in hues of green and tan and crooning birds in umpteen tunes and tones.
