Construction Stage : During construction stage generated solid waste will comprise mainly of construction waste. The construction waste will be reused within the site for filling work. In addition to that there will be generation of small quantity of solid waste from 15.60 kg/day (40 at camp and 24 floating) construction labors. It will be ensured that the generated waste will be sent to nearest designated waste storage bins. Operation Stage: Solid waste generation from the facility will be approximately 1.2 TPD including 0.74 TPD bio- degradable. Solid waste generated from the residential block and other areas will be collected daily on door to door basis by the dedicated and trained housekeeping staff. Twin bin systems will also be provided for segregation at sources. Recyclable wastes will be sold to vendors and non- recyclable wastes will be disposed through authorized agency to municipal waste disposal site. Biodegradable waste will be treated in onsite OWC. Solid waste including horticulture waste will be handled as per the Solid Waste Management & Handling Rules, 2016. Sewage sludge 118 kg/day of sewage sludge will be generated which will be used as manure for plants. Hazardous waste: 0.51 liters/ day of waste Lube oil will be generated from operation of DG Sets which will be sold to authorized recyclers.
