The farm encompasses a 47-acre parcel that is the longest continuously farmed site in New York State. Sprinklers shoot water all over an enclave enclosed by small man-made cliffs. It's gorgeous and fun but also slippery. Be very mindful of younger children! Free Kayaking at Brooklyn Bridge Park Brooklyn Bridge Park at Pier 2 offers free kayaking. Thursdays 5:30 pm - 6:45 pm and Saturdays 10 am - 3 pm, June 3 - August 26 Singles are for adults, or any kayaker with a parent/guardian present that is at least 14 years old. Doubles are for one adult and no more than one child under 14 or paddler that needs assistance. Show up at least 1 hour before closing, as that is when the line closes and the last boats go out. Splash Pad @ Lakeside- Prospect Park One Brooklyn’s coolest summer spots- the Splash Pad is designed for children under 12 and their parents and care-givers.
