Since the City’s Commission is currently inactive, it is recommended that the Council consider re- establishing the Commission. Per Bell Municipal Code, the Commission requires that three out of the nine members be youth members in high school and in good academic standing. Each member of the Commission is given a term of four years. The objective of the Commission is to act as an advisory body to the City Council and perform the following duties: A. To make recommendations to the Council in all matters pertaining to parks, activities and public recreation, including playgrounds, parks, stables, bridle trails and beautification; B.
