Men’s Division- 17 years of Age and up • Event rules same as World Championship rules • Each contestant shall be a member of the WRCA and must possess a WRCA Ranch Bronc Rider Card • he minimum membership is the “” level at $25 • he charge for the WRCA Ranch Bronc Rider Card is $25 • In order for Ranch Bronc Rider Card to be issued-applicant must prove ranch employment. his may be done by providing W-2, 1099, or payroll proof (cancelled check or payroll print out) from a working ranch. his information must be sent in with the Ranch Bronc Riding entry. You will be notiied either by mail, email or phone concerning entry status.

Ladies Division- 17 years of Age and up • Ladies Ranch Bronc Riding event will require the ladies to be members of the WRCA and carry a WRCA Ranch Bronc Rider Card but they do not need to qualify as ranch employees.

Must show proof of age.he WRCA oice will begin accepting applications March 1st.

Men’s Division

“Ride as ride can” for 8 seconds. A standard working must be used. No PRCA rigging allowed. No hobbling of one or both stirrups. has to be saddled, as he would be for everyday use. If catch rope is carried on the saddle it must be attached as it would be for everyday use. Saddled for everyday use means- stir- rups have no binding in order to hold stirrups forward, nor can they be hobbled under the girth. Flank cinch must be hobbled to front cinch with hobble strap no longer than 10 inches. Rope must be free except for the rope strap, no tying rope to anything but the rope strap. Stirrup leathers must be standard leathers. Saddle blankets or pads should not be used. should have full or 7/8 double rigging, no centerire or 5/8 or 3/4 rigging allowed. Saddles will be inspected before unsaddling in the stripping chute. Violations will result in immediate disqualii- cation in the ranch bronc riding for that round. A regular horse with one rein must be used and shall be provided by the ranch team. Points will be awarded for the diiculty of the horse and also for the degree of aggressiveness, control, and exposure dem- onstrated by the rider. If the rider believes that he has been fouled he must yell “foul” in the irst 3 seconds of the ride and then continue to make best ride possible throughout the 8 second ride. A re-ride may be awarded at judge’s discretion. Women’s Division “Ride as ride can” for 6 seconds. A standard working saddle must be used. No PRCA rigging allowed. Stirrups may be hobbled. Horse has to be saddled, as he would be for everyday use. If catch rope is carried on the saddle it must be attached as it would be for everyday use. Saddled for everyday use means- stirrups have no binding in order to hold stirrups forward, stirrups may be hobbled.
