Emmons had a big hand in the offensive output in Frostburg’s 24-19 week-one win over Geneva. He threw for 143 yards NEXT UP: and one touchdown and ran for 74 yards and another score. Following a lengthy lightning delay, Emmons turned a quarter- back draw on third and five into a 66 yard rushing touchdown that set the tone for the rest of the evening. Frostburg State currently competes in the Empire 8 as an affiliate football member and will begin its fourth season of competition in the league this fall (2014). The other associate football members, like FSU, compete primarily in the Capital Athletic Conference; the CAC does not sponsor football.
