This year marks the official opening of the All-Wales Coast Path. This festival invites you to explore a very special part of it: the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path. From June 2 nd to the 17 th you can walk, see and learn about the beautiful island of Anglesey with its 41 many myths and legends. Visit quaint coastal and rural villages with their tales of shipwrecks, cannibalism, Where these logos appear the walk uses a section of the Isle smugglers and ghosts and explore the island’s industrial of Anglesey Coastal Path heritage on the Parys Copper Mountain and Amlwch Where this logo appears the Port bus tour. In addition to this will be a romantic “speed 3 46 dating” event and coastal walk, a special evening with ‘Thomas Telford’ and a bus tour exploring and tasting local produce on the Anglesey Produce Day. All our walks are guided by experienced, informative 60 guides who will ensure your enjoyment during the festival. Menter Môn, as the organisers, are continuing our close working relationship with the Countryside Council 54 36 63 for Wales, the statutory adviser to the Government on 5 34 5 sustainable natural beauty, outdoor enjoyment, access and conservation and are part funding this event. The 9 69 Ramblers Association (Ynys Môn Group) are also assisting us in addition to the Anglesey Coastal Path 37 Team, North Wales Wildlife Trust, National Trust, Country - side Officers of the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Outdoor Partnership and GeoMôn. GeoMôn is now a ISLE OF ANGLESEY COASTAL PATH member of the prestigious European Network of which there are 33 members in Europe and is also a Global Geopark (UNESCO). GeoMôn is grateful to the walking festival for combining their activities as part of the European Geopark week. The All-Wales Coast Path will be officially opened on May 5th at events across Wales. Be one of the first to enjoy it as part of this year’s Anglesey Walking Festival. See the preserved the Valley Lakes piece of tube from the original bridge, get close to a lion, then A bird watching and historical walk around Llyn Cerrig Bach down to the shore and see how the bridge was constructed and where Iron Age artefacts including a slave chain, tools, and chariot later reconstructed.
