ADAM MCCARTHY Vice President, Physical Production Universal Pictures Adam McCarthy is a production executive at Universal Studios residing in Los Angeles, CA. He grew up in East Greenwich, Rhode Island and attended Boston University.

In 1993, he moved to Los Angeles, and served on several movies as a production assistant. In 1997, he moved back to the East Coast, where he began his career as a location manager on films such as “Say You’ll be Mine” and “Outside Providence”.

In 1999, he began working with the Farrelly Brothers on films such as “Me, Myself & Irene”, “Shallow Hal”, and “Stuck on You”. In 2004, he started to production supervise feature films such as “Fever Pitch” starring Jimmy Fallon and Drew Barrymore. He continued to supervise on films such as “The Proposal”, “Hall Pass” and ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”. Before joining Universal Studios, Adam was a co-producer on “The Three Stooges” for 20th Century Fox and “Furious 7” for Universal Studios.
