On foot from Aldgate East tube station
The Imparando City of London Learning Centre is less than a three minute walk from Aldgate East station. Leave Aldgate East Underground station from Exit 4 (Whitechapel). You will come out of the tube station immediately outside the entrance to London Metropolitan University (on your left). Walk straight ahead and turn left at the first set of traffic lights onto Commercial Road. Follow this road around the bend to the left (heading East, away from the Gherkin building) and keep walking past the fire station (on your left), at which point you will see a tall beige/grey building a further 100 metres down the road, on the right hand side. We are situated in this building, entrance number 56, Commercial Road. On entering, make you way straight across the lobby to the lift, and our reception can be found on the third floor.
Please note: You are looking for Commercial Road not Commercial Street.
On foot from Aldgate tube station
The Imparando City of London Learning Centre is several minutes from Aldgate tube station. Upon exiting the underground station turn left and continue down the road on the left-hand side. Cross over St. Botolph Street and continue to the bottom of Commercial Street. Cross over Commercial Street staying on the left-hand side, past the Whitechapel Gallery on Whitechapel High Street, and cross over the street at the lights just before the bottom of Brick Lane. After crossing the road continue left and then turn right into White Church Lane and continue down this lane until you meet Commercial Road. At the lights cross the street, heading left down Commercial Road (westward, away from the Gherkin building) and continue some 50 metres to the entrance of our building at 56 Commercial Road.
By Car There is a car park nearby in Aldgate, however, parking is expensive and we recommend using public transport instead of travelling to the Training Centre by car.
Centre Access The centre is open Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 17.30pm.
When you arrive at the building please check in with the security desk on the ground floor. You will need to state that you are visiting Fast Lane and then take the lift to the 3rd floor.
Registration Please sign in at the reception desk on the first day of your course.
Internet Access Wireless internet and computers with internet access are available free of charge in the delegate lounge.
