Her favorite memories are competitions, football and basketball games, and recitals. She has not only won many awards in regional and national dance competitions, but she has also held a few leadership positions such as being Co-Captain of the Spartanettes Gold Team and Co-President of GAC’s National Honor Society for Dance Arts Chapter for the 2019-2020 year.

Kendyl’s advice to her fellow dancers is to remember this quote and this scripture: “Sometimes you’ve gotta run before you can walk” ~ Tony Stark and Mark 5:34 which says “Daughter, you took a risk of faith and now you’re healed and whole! Live well, live blessed, be healed.” Kendyl would like to thank her coaches Ms. Caroline, Ms. Kristen, Ms. Kara, Ms. Houston, the School of Ballet Director Ms. Regan, and all of the staff of the School of Ballet for pouring into her and pushing her limits. Kendyl plans to continue her studies at the University of Georgia in the fall, with a major in Biology with the intention of becoming a diagnostic radiologist. She would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her throughout this journey and her parents especially for their many sacrifices and words of encouragement.

Destinee Sadler Destinee Sadler has been a member of the GAC School of Ballet and a Spartanette for two years. Her favorite memories are performing and building beautiful friendships. She is the recipient of numerous awards from dance competitions in the Southeast.

She believes that you may go through trials, and things may not go your way, but God has a plan for you, and it will be worth it in the end. One of her favorite sayings is “God’s rejection is also his protection” and the scriptures she finds helpful are 1 Timothy 4:12 and Philippians 4:13. Production Staff

7 Reasons Why Students Should Continue Their Dance Education Online from Dance Ed Tips

1. Dancers have worked hard for their training and they owe it to themselves to continue even though they are at home. 2. Online dance training will enrich what they’ve learned in the studio. 3. Online dance education will make them analytical, thoughtful, and critical thinkers. 4. It will teach them that “the show must go on” even when plans change or challenges arise. 5. It will keep them physically, mentally, and emotionally healthy while they are quarantined. 6. It will give them a sense of connection and community when they’re not seeing their friends. 7. It will help them maintain a sense of normalcy and routine while so much is happening around them. 2020-2021 Recital Dates
