Deacon Bruno Schettini, MD As the Feast of the fell on Good Friday during Holy Week this year, its Tim Millea M.D. celebration was moved to the Monday after the Second Sunday of Easter, that is Monday, Rev. Scott F. Binet, April 4. The Annunciation will not coincide with Good Friday again until 2157! The MI, MD Annunciation marked the beginning of our salvation with Mary's "yes". Each time we say the Jose A. Santos, MD we are repeating the words of the Angel Gabriel. Fra Angelico's depiction of the Robin Pierucci, MD Annunciation seen above illustrates so beautifully the humility of Mary in accepting her role as the Mother of God. May we be so humble in accepting what is asked of us each day by our patients and our families.

This is also a good time to remind everyone of the Catholic Medical Association's through which we offer up our day and works to Jesus, through His Mother's Immaculate Heart, pray for the Holy Father's intentions and very importantly, pray for each other. The CMA is about fellowship and spiritual and bioethical formation. You might want to keep a copy in your prayer book, or wallet.

Morning Offering O Jesus, through the , I offer you my prayers, works, joys and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the throughout the world. I offer them for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart: the salvation of souls, the reparation for sin, and the reunion of all Christians. I offer them for the intentions of our bishops and of all the members of the Catholic Medical Association, and in particular for those recommended by our Holy Father this month. Amen.

Lastly, during this Easter season, in preparation for , we would recommend reading from the Acts of the Apostles each day to see how the early Christian community lived out their faith. We also would recommend reading more about how to prayerfully read Sacred Scripture with this link from the U.S Conference of Catholic Bishops' website.
