Please be informed as of very recent changes to our venue for the Winter Dinner-Meeting! We are grateful for Brother Ted Kalathas in hosting this Annual Festivity on such short notice! As always Brother Ted had risen to the occasion and agreed to open up his venue on an evening not usually open for business! We are grateful and appreciate Brother Ted for. your hospitality and graciousness in hosting this Annual Winter Dinner-Meeting of 2017.

Announcing the Ahepa Chapter #64 Annual Winter Dinner Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, January 29th, 2017 at Theo's Bar & Grill located at 3315 Hartzdale Drive, Camp Hill, PA 17011.This is a Dinner Meeting with a Social hour beginning at 5:00 o’clock pm (cash bar) and dinner at 6:00 o’clock pm.

The cost is still $25 per person, and as always, you may pay at the door. The menu is a choice between 2 delicious entrees consisting of a Lamb Shank or 2 Broiled Crab Cakes which both will include a cup of soup, a small Greek salad, and two side dishes. This will be accompnied with a choice of dessert and a soft drink, iced tea, tea, or coffee. Gratuities will be included.

Our guest speaker for the evening will be Coach George Chaump (Prolific Football Coach) who will be presenting a talk on his career of coaching football which consists of very successful tenures at the high school, college, and professional levels. Coach Chaump is famous for his tremendous success and history at the previous named John Harris High School in the ''60's and 70's as well as the Harrisburg High School in the 80’s, 90's and in the new century. Coach Chaump coached some of the teams currently involved in Bowl match ups this year including Navy and Ohio State. This will be an informative talk which is an appropriate segway into the Super Bowl match for this year. Don't Miss It!

George Chaump (born April 28, 1936) is a former American football player and coach. He served as at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (1982–1985), Marshall University (1986–1989), and the United States Naval Academy (1990–1994), compiling a career record of 71–73–2. In 1987, Chaump led his Marshall Thundering Herd squad to the NCAA Division I-AA title game. Coaching career Chaump's football head coaching career began in 1961 at Shamokin High School in Pennsylvania), followed by six seasons at John Harris High School, where his teams went 58-4 in those six seasons.[1] In 1968 he joined the staff as an assistant coach with Ohio State under , for whom he coached 11 seasons from 1968 to 1978. This stretch was followed by three years (1979-1981) as an assistant coach in the NFL with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers under coach John McKay, with the team compiling an overall record of 24-23-1.[2] He left the NFL and served for four seasons as head coach at Indiana University of Pennsylvania from 1982 to 1985, compiling a record of 24-16-1.[3] From 1986 to 1989, Chaump coached at Marshall, where he compiled a 33–16–1 record. This record includes back-to-back 10-win seasons in 1987 and 1988. From 1990 to 1994, he coached at Navy, where he compiled a 14–41 record.[4][5][6] After leaving Navy, Chaump returned to coaching at Central Dauphin High School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in 1997. He coached the school to a 57-14 record through the 2002 season before taking over the head coaching duties at Harrisburg High School prior to the 2003 season. Chaump's tenure at Harrisburg ended in 2010. For two seasons (2011 and 2012), Chaump again served as head coach of the Central Dauphin East High School football team, posting an 8-13 record.[7] In 23 years as a high school coach, Chaump's record was 190-66.[8]
