Make sure the Sender does NOT send money to the Embassy, but to a designated Western Union office in France. Funds usually arrive within an hour.

To Send Money to France, the Sender Must Either:

 Pay online: http://www.westernunion.com/)  Pay by phone with a credit card: U.S. Tel: (1-800) 325-6000  Pay in person at a Western Union office. Go to www.westernunion.com to select an agency.

To Receive the Money in France, the Receiver Must:

 Get the 10-digit confirmation number from the sender;  Get the amount sent;  Have full name and telephone number of the sender;  Present a valid passport at the Western Union Agency Counter;  Fill out the “To Receive Money” form at the counter.
