ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG www.oebb.at/infrastruktur The cross-border Freilassing (DE)-Salzburg (AT) section has reached its capacity limit and is becoming a bottleneck as the frequency of the S-Bahn Additional information: service between Freilassing and Salzburg is increasing. The construction of a Coordinator’s Report on third track from Freilassing to Salzburg will pose remedy to this bottleneck. the Corridor http://ec.europa.eu/transport/themes/i The Action, which is a continuation of the Action 2007-DE-17020-P includes: nfrastructure/ten-t-guidelines/corridors  the construction of a third track of approximately 1.5 km between Freilassing and Salzburg; European Commission  the construction of a single-track 150 metre long railway overpass http://ec.europa.eu/transport over the border river "Saalach", including cable routing;  the construction of holding sidings at the West end of Freilassing Innovation and Networks Executive station; Agency (INEA)  the construction of a centre platform (with dead-end tracks) at the http://ec.europa.eu/inea East end of Freilassing station with the necessary equipment;  renewal and extension of three existing railway overpasses in the vicinity of Freilassing station.
