The Guide presents a dilemma, and the players set off on an adventure of the imagination. Along the way you use your character’s special skills, companions, and equipment to overcome obstacles. Maybe you’ll rescue a friend from Dragonsnot Falls, save the world’s biggest adventure park from an ancient curse, or fix Whizbang’s broken time machine before it’s too late! (1 sticker event) Location Address: Willamette Park, 1100 12th St. West Linn, Or 97068 Enrollment Limit: none Budget: FREE Great Oregon Steam Up DSA HOURS: ~6 Saturday, August 3rd, 11am-3pm Oregon City Hub Times: 10am/4:00pm Come with us to the Great Oregon Steam Up and learn about the early machinery that made Oregon develop and grow. Hear about innovators and manufacturers of times past. Machines on display include farm tractors and implements, early engines, crawlers, fire apparatus, vintage trucks and cars, logging gear, an early Oregon flour mill, and an authentic steam sawmill. Rides include an historic trolley and a miniature railroad. A parade takes place each day at 1:30 pm and it includes vintage tractors, trucks, and automobiles. NE Brooks, Or. 97303 Enrollment Deadline: August 1st Enrollment Limit: 9 Budget: $15 (please bring a sack lunch or money for food) National Night Out DSA HOURS: ~2 Tuesday, August 6th, 5:30pm-7:30pm Oregon City Hub Times: 5:00pm/8:00pm National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. National Night Out has been cele- brated across North America on the first Tuesday of August since 1983. It's a day when people hold parties to strengthen community cohesiveness and crime resistance and get to know their neighbors and their local public safety officials. When neighbors get to know each other, they create a connected and safer community. Come meet police officers, watch police dog demonstrations, check out some booths, and eat some great food! The winner will also suit up for The Pickles during their game against the Venados on September 30th. All fans, family, and friends of potential hopefuls are welcome to attend the tryout by purchasing tickets to the Wild Wild West League Championship HERE. Last year's Pickles baseball season was a win for East Portland; if one were to keep score, there were hundreds, if not thousands, of new visitors to Lents. Pickles Baseball increased revenue for businesses in the immediate area, employed local residents, and immediately addressed concerns from neighbors regarding parking and sound level issues. This year's baseball fans will see the construction in the Lents Town Center. It is our hope that among those baseball fans will be some who will lease the new retail spaces, rent the new apartments, or return to Lents to shop and visit the newly renovated Lents Park. Lents couldn't get a better endorsement than from Pickles Baseball fans who come to Walker Stadium to enjoy the Great American Pastime, and find a neighborhood in the process of revitalization. An ideal day would include Portland Pickles Baseball fans making a day of it--bowling in the afternoon at KingPins Bowling, heading down the street to visit the Belmont Goats on their way to Zoiglhaus for a quick snack, and finishing a perfect summer's day at the ball game.

As selected by vote of the state’s 6A & 5A head baseball coaches and announced by 6A coordinators Jake Anders & John Arntson and 5A coordinator Scot McDonald, Ad Rutschman and Brent Child will act as honorary coaches for the North and South, respectively. Before coaching baseball and football at Linfield College, Ad was a successful head baseball coach at his alma mater - Hillsboro High School. He won state titles in 1962, 1966 and 1968 at Hillsboro. Hilhi’s baseball facility at Hare Field is named Ad Rutschman Baseball Stadium. At Linfield, Ad was a head coach both in football and baseball. Ad won three NAIA national championships in football and won a NAIA national title in baseball his first year coaching the Wildcats. He’s a member of the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame, College Footbal Hall of Fame and NAIA Hall of Fame. His son Randy Rutschman played in the Oregon All-Star Series in The Dalles (then called the State-Metro Series) following a standout senior season at McMinnville High School. And his grandson Adley Rutschman – the MVP of the 2016 Oregon All-Star Series (Sherwood) - was recently selected by the Baltimore Orioles as the #1 overall pick of the 2019 MLB Draft.
