Invitation Letter - World Halal Day CROATIA 2016

It is with great pleasure to inform you that in the upcoming 2016 the Republic of Croatia would be celebrating 100th anniversary of institutional recognition of Islam as one of the in Croatia. On 27 April 1916 the proclaimed Islam as one of the institutional religion and since then started development of the Islamic Community in Croatia. According to significance of the anniversary, Center for Halal Quality Certification in cooperation with United World Halal Development organization is organizing World Halal Day Croatia 2016 (WHD), the first international event in Croatia dedicated to the Halal market, Halal tourism, Halal food and nutrition as well as Islamic banking and finance for the first time in Croatia which will be held from 02-04 November 2016 in Opatija. World Halal Day is a consecutive event hosted by United World Halal Development organization every November in different country.

Under the patronage of Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Economy in Croatia the event would gather manufacturers, non-profit organizations, leaders of world’s halal institutions, representatives of government authorities, business and hotel management executives, travel agencies, local government units, university lecturers, scientific researches, entrepreneurs, buyers and trade visitors etc. Apart from the congress there would also be exhibition of halal producers and service providers.
