Fly, Fight and Win… 11 910th Airlift Wing Tactical Airlift Missions

In wartime, the 910th Airlift Wing mission is to employ the Lockheed C-130 Hercules aircraft in combat operations of tactical airlift. These operations include low-level infiltration into a combat environment, where aircrews can deliver personnel and materials by and air-land techniques. The 910th Aircraft Maintenance and 910th Maintenance Squadron ensure aircraft and ground support equipment are in good working order and ready to support the mission.

Recent missions: • Sept. 2016 – Jan. 2017: More than 170 members from the 910th Airlift Wing’s flying, maintenance and other ground support squadrons deployed to complete airlift operations to various military installations throughout the U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) Area of Operations (AOR). These 910th Citizen Airmen and aircraft completed 1,374 flying hours during the course of more than 330 missions. During these missions, they flew 684 sorties and the aircrews moved 3,985 passengers, hauled 2,231 tons of cargo and transported 151 patients with a 99% mission effectiveness rate.

910th is home to the DoD’s only Aerial Spray capability and dedicated Aerial Spray Maintenance Flight Missions include: Insect Control, Vegetation control on bombing ranges and Oil spill neutralization

Recurring annual missions: • 12 DoD installations in the states of Ariz., Fla., Ga., Idaho, Kansas, N.D., S.C., Utah and Va.

Recent Emergency Operations: • Sept 2017 - 2.7 million+ acres sprayed in Texas for mosquito control after Hurricane Harvey • 2010 - 30,000+ acres sprayed in the Gulf of Mexico to aid in cleanup efforts in aftermath of Deepwater Horizon oil spill

The 910th Mission Support provides Agile Combat Support to the warfighter through the capabilities of the 76th Aerial Port Squadron, the 910th Civil Engineering Squadron/910th Civil Engineering Fire Department, 910th Communications Squadron, 910th Force Support Squadron, 910th Logistics Readiness Squadron, and the 910th Security Forces Squadron
