Power Outage Special Teams Bemidji State enters the weekend on a power-play slump. Steve Sertich is now in his seventh season as head coach of the Bemidji State women’s hockey program. Sertich has helped propel the program to heights never seen before. In 2011- 12, the team achieved a national ranking for the first time ever, reaching as high as No. 7 and won a program record 17 games. The team’s 11 conference wins last season were also a Bemidji State best.

At the conclusion of the 2010-11 season, the team finished in sole possession of fifth place in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association, the highest finish in team history.
