SARDINE FACTORY ON CANNERY ROW THE PLACE TO BE SEEN DURING AT&T Golf and Hollywood Celebs Hit Monterey’s Hotspot during AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am

MONTERY, Calif. – February 23, 2008 – Monterey’s most celebrated restaurant, the Sardine Factory on Cannery Row, offered fans the opportunity to view some of the legends of golf, television and film while dining during the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.

Vijay Singh, World Hall of Fame golf superstar, was spotted dining with Ted Balestreri, Chairman and CEO of the Cannery Row Company. Nick Faldo, CBS Sports and former PGA Tour Player was also seen dining at the Sardine Factory.

Jim Nantz, the dynamic host of NFL Today on CBS, hosted a lavish dinner party in the wine cellar of the Sardine Factory on Valentine’s Day. Among the guests were a variety of golf, television and film stars including legendary Academy Award-winning actor/director Clint Eastwood, former star of "Everybody Loves Raymond", Ray Romano and actor/comedian Kevin James, recently seen in “Paul Blart: Mall Cop”.

Guests of Nantz also included professional golfer Phil Mickelson; Gary McCord, CBS Sports golf analyst, former PGA Tour player, author, and co-owner of Kostis McCord Learning Center, and his wife Diane; Peter Kostis, CBS Sports on-course reporter and co-owner of Kostis McCord Learning Center along with his wife Sandy; Paul Spangler, executive vice president of golf at the Pebble Beach Company with his wife Cyndy; Claude Choo, caddie; and Brandt Snedeker, professional golfer with his wife Mandy.
