Day 2 & 3 At Sea

Day 4 Alexandria, Egypt Mohammad Ali Mosque Egyptian Museum Of Antiquities (Port Said & Alexandria Cruise line price USD$495) Egyptian Museum Of Antiquities & Citadel of Salah El Din & Mohammad Ali Mosque & Khan Khalil Bazaar. Board air-conditioned motorcoaches in Port Said and travel in convoy along the scenic road to Cairo. Travel through a varied landscape of sand and scrub, broken by irrigated fields of produce, small towns and rural farms, plus new industrial estates with their supporting modern residential regions. Citadel of Salah El Din - Standing atop Cairo’s highest hill, the 12th-century citadel erected by Saladin, as he is best known in the West, is at the very heart of Islamic Cairo. Tour the massive fortress complex, which includes the Mohammad Ali Mosque. Mohammad Ali Mosque - Built by Muhammad Ali in 1820, the mosque resembles Istanbul’s famed Blue Mosque and features alabaster walls, unique ring chandeliers, and intricate, geometric carvings and calligraphy. Lunch on your own. Egyptian Museum Of Antiquities - With over 120,000 objects in its 107 halls - including the treasures of Tutankhamen - the museum, located in Cairo, boasts the greatest collection of Egyptian antiquities in the world. (Optional entrance to Royal Mummies Room) Khan Khalil Bazaar - Cairo’s oldest bazaar, built 1382, features a maze of tiny shops dealing in gold, silver, gems, spices, perfumed oils, carpets, and leather goods. Hard bargaining is part of the fun. After shopping at Khan Khalil Bazaar, you will enjoy your dinner at Nile cruise with belly dance performance. **Stay overnight at local 5 star hotel. **Included dinner at Nile cruise with belly dance performance.

Day 5 Alexandria, Egypt Visit Memphis, The Great Pyramids, the Pyramids of The Sphinx The Great Pyramids Chephren or Mycerinus, Sphinx & Step Pyramid of Zoser at Sakkara. Enjoy breakfast at hotel. Meet your local English speaking guide and start your sightseeing tour in Cairo. Visit Memphis. Memphis, founded around 3,100 BC, is the legendary city of Menes. Its location lies approximately between Upper and Lower Egypt, and the importance of the area is demonstrated by its persistent tendency to be the Capital of Egypt, as Cairo just to the North is today. There are more than 80 pyramids in Egypt, mainly distrib utes in Giza, Saqqara and Memphis. The City was originally Ineb-Hedj, meaning "The White Wall". The city was named “Memphis” after Menes unified Egypt. The Great Pyramids - Your air-conditioned motorcoach drives to a promontory for a panoramic view of the three great pyramids. The largest, the Great Pyramid of Cheops, is built of 2,300,000 limestone blocks weighing 2.5 tons each. Completed circa 2,500 BC, its base covers 13 acres. Continue on for a close-up view of the Pyramids of Chephren or Mycerinus. You may explore one of these pyramids’ in teriors if you wish. (Not recommended for those suffering from claustrophobia or with cardiac and respiratory problems.) The Sphinx - Reclining just east of the Pyramid of Chephren, this figure with the body of a lion is thought to bear the likeness of the Pharaoh Chephren and is believed to be the guardian of his tomb. The stele between the Sphinx’s paws was added over a thousand years later by the Pharaoh Thutmose IV. Visit the Tombs in the Sakkara site. View step Pyramid of Zoser - Bui lt in the 28th-century BC by the architect Imhotep for his Pharaoh Zoser, the oldest of Egypt’s 110 pyramids - and the first to use limestone construction - consists of six layers or steps in pyramid form. The nearby temple complex, part of the vast necropolis, is entered through a hypostyle, a featuring 40 pillars. Lunch on your own. The Papyrus Museum - Displays of different types of Papyrus and artwork made from it. Board the motorcoach and return to the pier. Dinner at ship.

Day 6 At Sea

Day 7 Khios, Greece(Cruise Line Price: USD$158) Khios is the fifth largest of the Greek Islands, situated in the Aegean Sea. The island is separated from Turkey by the Khios Strait. The island of Khios is famous as the only place in the world that the Lentisk plant grows. This weird tree became the source of great wealth to the island. For its bark when cut cries tears like diamonds from where natural gum comes from. Chewing gun, cosmetics and medicines were made from this plant and exported round the world. Visit Nea Moni Monastery, located on the foothills on the centre of the island is one of the most impressive monasteries in Europe dating from the 11th century. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site the monastery is famous for its mosaics which are one of the finest surviving examples of Byzantine art. Their gold and red colours reflect the sunlight and candlelight and are said to be pleasing to god in their perfect beauty. Then visit Pyrgi Village. It is one of the most unusual villages in the world dating back

At its centre stands the defence tower where the citizens took refuge in attacks. Its Maze like streets are lined with houses whose outside are decorated with a system called “Xysta”. A geometric designs in black and white plaster which make it an unforgettable sight. In the village you will also be able to see the house reputed to have hosted christopher Columbus on his visit to the island when he was looking for maps to plan his trip to the New World. Visit Mesta Village before return to the pier. The village is a perfectly preserved Village-Castle of the Byzantine period dating back to the 14th Century. Houses were built in tight formation and maze like to protect the wealth accumulated from the famous Mastic tree. You also have the opportunities in Anavatos Village and Mastic Tree Plantation to see the wonderful little trees while your guide will explain the way the farmers harvest the gum and its uses today.

Day 8 Istanbul, Turkey (Cruise Line Price: USD$179) Istanbul is the largest city of Turkey. It extends both on the Europe (Thrace) and on the Asia (Anatolia) side of the Bosphorus, and is thereby the only metropolis in the world which is situated on two continents. This tour will help familiarize you with Istanbul’s major landmarks on the European side. Visit the Blue Mosque, adorned with six minarets and decorated with Iznik tiles, Hippodrome – the site of the ancient chariot races and celebrations in honor of emperors. Visit the St. Sophia Museum, a superb work of Byzantine architecture. Tour Topkapi Palace, visit its Harem and see the seventh-largest diamond in the world. This world-famous palace was the imperial residence of the Ottoman Sultans for almost 400 years. Visit Cisterns. The Cisterns (Turkish: Yerebatan Sarayı - "Sunken Palace", or Yerebatan Sarnıcı - "Sunken Cistern"), is the largest of several hundred ancient cisterns that lie beneath the city of Istanbul (formerly Constantinople), Turkey. Last visit to the Grand Bazaar, the world’s largest covered marketplace where you have over 5000 shops to choose from. **Grand Bazaar is closed on Sunday & Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesday**

Day 9 Kusadasi/ Ephesus, Turkey (Cruise Line Price: USD$54) Visit the Ancient site of Ephesus. One of the most interesting and extensive ancient cities in the world, Ephesus was established by the Greeks, and then successively occupied by Persians and Romans. The art and architecture of emperors adorn the city in a state of remarkable preservation. We’ll visit these landmarks: the Theater, one of the most impressive buildings in Ephesus, built in the third century BC, later expended by the Romans to seat 24,000. The Library of Celcius, built by a Roman Consul in memory of his father, a spectacular building which is almost entirely reconstructed with pieces found in the excavations. The Temple of , a Corinthian Temple noted for the distinctive façade and inner walls depicting the city’s legendary founder. And finally, visit the Baths of Scholastica. Visit the Leather Factory and see a demonstration followed by refreshment and a snack of Turkish pastry. Drive back to Kusadasi port.

Day 10 Athens (Piraeus), Greece (Cruise line price USD$139) Board your coach drive to the heart of Athens. Your narrated drive passes a host of major sites, including Hadrian's Arch, the statue of Lord Byron, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Constitution Square, the former Royal Palace, the National Gardens, the Academy and the University Library. Visit Acropolis - The Acropolis dominates the Athenian landscape. Your guided walking tour begins with a walk up steep steps through the Propylea, which extends 150 feet across the western face of the Acropolis. Beyond the Propylea, on the highest point of the Acropolis, stands the Parthenon, which was dedicated to the virgin goddess Athena. The white pentelic marble temple was built 446 - 437 B.C. Beyond the Parthenon, lies the Erectheion, a temple honoring Athena and the sea god Poseidon. The graceful Porch of the Caryatids features columns of marble maidens supporting the roof of the temple. Visit Temple of Poseidon. Your guide escorts you up the rocky path and low steps to this 5th-century B.C. temple dedicated to the sea god. Built on a cliff on Cape Sounion, the temple overlooks the Aegean. The changing light and crashing waves create an extraordinary scene that once inspired Lord Byron. If traffic and conditions permitting, have photo opportunity at Old Olympic Stadium which was built to host the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. During the 2004 Olympic Games, it was used for both for the finish of the marathon and Archery. Free time is given in the Plaka to browse through Athens’ famous shopping district. Lunch on your own expenses. After free time we will drive back to the ship.

Day 11 At Sea

Day 12 Naples, Sorrento, Italy (Cruise line price USD$179) This morning disembark your ship and meet your local English speaking assistant. Your first stop will be in Sorrento. It Pompeii is located on a tuff coast and is reflected in the Gulf of Naples, which attracts tourists and visitors for the breathtaking views and landscape. While in Sorrento, meet your English speaking guide and enjoy a walking tour of St. Francis garden and the view of the Gulf of Sorrento. Free Sampling of the authentic Lemoncello is offered in local factory. After your visit, board your coach and drive to Pompeii. Lunch on your own. Explore Pompeii where excavations since 1748 have unearthed a stunningly well preserved picture of Roman daily life from AD79. Enjoy a short panoramic tour of Naples before returning to the pier. Dinner at ship.

Day 13 Rome, Italy (Transfer Only) Pick up all passengers at Rome pier and transfer to the airport. **Transfers between pier and airports are not included in Excursion package price. 1 Night Post Cruise in Rome

Day 1: - Arrive Rome Pier - Meet English Speaking Assistant on board deluxe motor coach, drive to Civitavecchia and have a sightseeing tour in Vatican. - You’ll visit St. Peter’s Basilica: it’s the largest church in the world and it’s a huge sanctuary of Christian religion; Inside visit : the Chapel is the Papal Chapel within the Vatican. The , painted by Michelangelo, called “The Creation of Adam” and “The Last Judgement” are the most renowned artworks of the High Renaissance. - Photo stop at . A traditional legend holds that if visitors throw a coin into the fountain, it will bring them luck and they are ensured a return to Rome. - You will then visit : it’s being used as a catwalk and it connect the church of Trinita dei Monti to Pizza di Spagna. - Lunch and dinner will be under own arrangement. - The tour will be end at your hotel. *** Overnight at local 4 star hotel.***
