Planning to blag my way into a club, I set off feeling determined. 'It really can't be that hard', I thought to myself In the past I've been pretty good at sneaking into clubs. I've got into the Faversham, Wire and Cockpit for free before, but I've also been caught out on occasion. I have also watched pe9ple getting yelled at by scary looking bouncers before having to shamefully pay the full price whilst sporting a red face; not a look I was going for that evening. Getting to the club pretty late. I saw there wasn't a queue. Unfortunately for me though. there were some bouncers on lhe door. I decided to go around the back and start casually chatting to some smokers. This way. I thought, it would look as if I'd already been inside as I'm obviously chatting with my best friends. I explained my plan to these new friends of mine, and they ag1-eed to help me. 1 After- trying to copy the stamp on their wrists as well as I could with eyeliner, I headed for the door. I tned to keep as close to them as possible but naturally, the stamp looked pretty awful. I tried to explain to the bouncer that I had washed my hands, that it had smudged, that their stamp wasn't very good etc. Now, some would say the bouncers were stupid for believing me seeing as they obviously hadn't seen me walk out of the club as I never did ... but I'm not complaining. To all who feel like getting a free Friday night out I'd definitely recommend attempting it It seems more to be a game of !uck than anything else, and it helps if the bouncers are nice - or gullible in my case. Plus, so what if it goes wrong? You'll JUst have to pay for your entry. So try it out., you've got nothing to lose (expect perhaps your dignity).
