Mr. Vijay Mahajan (Chairman): Vijay Mahajan was educated at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi; the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad; and at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, Princeton University, USA. Vijay is the chairman of BASIX group and co‐founded PRADAN, Sa‐dhan and APMAS. He has co‐authored a book "The Forgotten Sector" on the rural non‐farm sector and written over 50 articles on rural livelihoods, development and micro‐finance. He is a member of the Committee on Financial Inclusion, the Microfinance Equity and Development Fund and is also on the Board of CGAP, the global microfinance apex. Vijay was selected "Outstanding Social Entrepreneur" by the Schwab Foundation of the , Davos, 2003.

Mr. Ashok Kumar Singha (Managing Director) Education: PGDBM, XIM, Bhubaneswar Years of Experience: 19 years

Ashok Singha is a graduate in Agriculture and a postgraduate in Management, has over 19 years experience in Livelihood Enhancement, Micro‐Finance, Sector Transformation, Public Enterprise Reform, Policy Research, Governance and Performance Improvement areas. He has exposure to sector study, institutional analysis and capacity building at national and international levels. He is one of the six governance consultants with DFID in India. An alumnus of Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar , Ashok has worked in Power Sector Reform (Orissa, AP, MP, UP), Public Enterprise Reform (in power sector, forestry sector, irrigation and water sectors), Decentralization and Participatory Governance (with Pani Panchayats, Water user Associations, Power User Associations, capacity building of NGOs, CBOs and municipalities). Ashok has worked extensively on climate change issues. His works include configuring large scale demand side management and energy efficiency projects in Orissa, and . He worked with EII in the marketing of a portfolio of CDM projects in India for DFAI –Canada. Ashok has worked extensively in the CDM project cycle in different capacities and has written extensively on the issues relating to power sector reform and climate change. He is familiar with regulatory, commercial and institutional issues in power sector and has actively participated in various consultations during the preparation Indian Electricity Act. His recent interests include working with large power companies on the issues relating to better climate management and regulatory compliance, risk management areas. He is also engaged with several public and private sector companies for CDM configuration. He has successfully led a team of seven professionals in Institutional Strengthening Project in Orissa Power Sector Reform during privatization engagement of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Ashok is also co‐author of a book titled The Forgotten Sector, with Thomas Fisher of New Economic Foundation and Mr. Vijay Mahajan, BASIX. Ashok has also contributed to the book Rural Electricity Governance (Academic Foundation).

Prabhat Panda (Director) Education: CA, ICAI Years of Experience: 14 years

Prabhat is a Chartered Accountant and co‐founder of CTRAN. He is a fellow and a gold medalist from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has experience of over fourteen years in the field of financial and operational review and structuring of back office functions. He has evaluated financial health, profitability and restructure of the financial health, cost benefit analysis, etc of OFDC and TDCC as a part of the Public Enterprise Reform in Orissa. He has been doing business and asset valuation for a number of public and private organizations. He has rich experience in the fields of direct and indirect taxes. His works in the field of insurance audit, stock exchange financial review and review of financial markets have significantly influenced operating procedures in these institutions. He has significantly contributed in the field of disinvestment and asset sale transaction management for various PSUs and private organizations. He has worked extensively in the areas of project appraisal, due diligence, project finance and transaction. He has worked extensively on institutional and financial risk assessment for several agencies such as Action AID, UNDP, DFID.

Mr. N V Ramana (Director) Education: PGDBM, IIM Ahmedabad Years of Experience: 25 years

N V Ramana is a post graduate in Business Management with specialization in Agriculture from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad and a graduate in Dairy Technology from National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal. Most recently, served as Chief Executive Officer, BASIX group of companies. He joined BASIX as Sr. Vice President (Strategic Initiatives), provided guidance to new initiatives in livelihoods and on commercial ventures in various sub‐sectors in BASIX group. He anchored Business Development for the Group Companies. He served as Managing Director of Krishna Bhima Samruddhi Local Area Bank (KBSLAB).Prior to BASIX, he was associated with ITC group for over two decades at various levels of management in the areas of procurement, commodity trading, processing, marketing and exports of agricultural commodities. He has vast experience in developing & implementing Agro business and projects.

S. Ramachandran (Director) Education: Chartered Accountant Years of Experience: 17 years

Ramachandran is a bachelor of Commerce and a Chartered Accountant started his career in a manufacturing industry, in the finance and MIS/IT function. He then worked with two major NBFCs in charge of accounting, audit and compliance. He joined BASIX in 1999 as Senior Manager, in charge of Finance and Information function. He set up the Information Technology Solutions for Livelihoods group catering to both the internal IT needs of BASIX as well as of many upcoming NGOs‐MFIs. He became AVP (Operations and HR) in 2004. In 2006, he became Chief Operating Officer of BSFL. In 2008 he became Chief Financial and Technology Officer. He attended the course for Financial Institutions for Private Enterprise Development conducted by Harvard University in 2006.

Parthasarathy (Director) Education: PGDBM‐IIM‐Bangalore Years of Experience: 23 years

Parthasarathy is a Graduate in Agriculture Science from University of Agriculture Sciences (UAS), Bangalore; Masters Degree in Agriculture Economics from Tamil Nadu Agriculture University (TNAU), Coimbatore; MBA from Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore. Parthasarathy is Senior Vice President in BASIX and is stationed at Hyderabad, and heads the consulting division, ARC. He has several years of experience in the social sector in Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and a few other areas. He has been involved in policy analysis and research and consultancy in rural development, rural finance and livelihoods. Having worked with funding agencies such as SDC and Action Aid, he has experience of local fund raising, mission/vision development for organizations, developing and nurturing grassroots organisations and enterprises, assessing fund utilisation by them, etc. He has been involved in strategies for employment creation through technical and microfinance assistance. Parthasarathy has experience of working with micro enterprises and other grassroots institutions and understands their dynamics also because of his banking experience with Syndicate Bank. He was responsible for appraisal, disbursement, monitoring and recovery of loans to agriculture, fisheries, livestock, coffee estates and rural development activities. He has also been responsible for implementation of government sponsored schemes like IRDP and TRYSEM.

Dr. Runa Sarkar (Director) Education: M.Sc. [Env. Engg]

Runa Sarkarreceived her BE (Hons) from BITS Pilani; M.Sc. (Environmental Engineering) from University of North Carolina, USA. She has done her Fellow Programme in Management from IIM Calcutta. Her area of specialization is Environment Economics, , environmental financing, economic instruments for pollution control, and cost‐benefit analysis.. During her stint with Dyson Hotwork Products and Services she was responsible for all activities relating to energy efficient burners and furnaces, from manufacturing to final sales, customer relations and servicing and Environmental consultancy services for all ongoing iron and steel projects. She has extensive experience in economic analysis of environmental and social impacts of major projects and has conducted numerous training courses on specific topics in environmental economics and cost‐benefit analysis. She regularly works to support the environmental economics activities of bilateral (including CIDA, DANIDA, the European Union, and USAID), and multilateral institutions (including the Asian Development Bank, the United Nations Development Program and the World Bank).

Saroj Nayak, Associate Vice President: Education: M.Sc. Anthropology Years of Experience: 15 years

Saroj Nayak is a postgraduate in Anthropology from Sambalpur University. Saroj has around 15 years of experience in research, consultancy, capacity building, program / project execution, M & E and allied project management functions. He worked with Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar and handled different projects sponsored by bi‐lateral and multilateral international and national agencies like DFID, World Bank, UNDP, EU, NABARD, SIDBI, LWS, CAPART, CORDAID, MEMISA, MESIRIOR, CARITAS, etc in the institute. His basic experience relates to rural infrastructure sectors (energy and environment), bio‐diversity and adaptation research and rural decentralization. He has hands on experience in working with State Government, Central Government and private organizations. He was the team leader for strengthening rural decentralized governance system, and has developed the SEMF for the OCTMP. Currently, he is spearheading the Public‐Private Community Partnership project in Orissa and has taken initiatives to prepare a model District Public Private Community Partnership (DPPCP) plan to improve capacities of local resource group, NGOs and local self government representatives at district and block levels. Suvra Majumdar, Associate Vice President: Education: BE [Electrical], PG [Energy Mgmt.] Accredited Energy Auditor – BEE Years of Experience: 05 years

Suvra Majumdar is an electrical engineering graduate and postgraduate in Energy management. He has specific exposure in working in the field of CDM project development and carbon financing , renewable energy based Power generation feasibility study and evaluation, Green House Gas Accounting (Member of India’s first GHG accounting cell), energy audit and energy management in electrical and thermal utilities(Member of association of Energy Engineers, USA). He is also a Certified Energy Auditor from BEE and has hands on knowledge in the field of power system O&M, designing and possess relevant permit (SCC 24367). He has developed CDM projects in a various areas which include natural gas based packaged cogeneration projects in leading textile and plastic industry in Gujarat. He was also involved in developing of CDM projects in natural gas based fuel switch for a gas distribution company in Gujarat, wind power, community and industrial hydro power projects in Maharashtra, waste heat recovery based power generation from sponge iron units in Orissa, sugar cogeneration, biomass based fuel switch and power generation, energy efficiency, lightening energy efficiency and community based biogas programmes. His capacity building experience with the DFID supported project for IPICOL adds to his already enriched experience which includes the strategic advice for promoting of cleaner initiatives in industries as well as in other sectors. In the field of renewable energy he has worked with IISWBM and TERI for WBREDA’s project of master plan preparation of Electrification for off grid island of Indian Sunderbans, Evaluation for solar home lighting system for WBREDA. He has also carried out energy audit in leading ceramic industries in Maharashtra, steel rolling mills and iron and steel foundry in West Bengal

Abhik Saha, Senior Consultant Education: M.Tech [Env. Engg] Years of Experience: 08 years

Abhik Saha is a M.Tech in Environmental Engineering and also a Master in Environmental Science from University of Calcutta and has a has more than 8 years experience and comprehensive knowledge of EHS legal compliance requirements/ review of projects, environment‐occupational health & safety auditing, environmental and social impact assessment of different projects, corporate environmental management systems, environmental monitoring, and wastewater treatment. His areas of specialization include advisory services on climate change projects based on Clean Development Mechanism under Kyoto Protocol, environment and social impact assessment, implementing and auditing of management system as per ISO 14001 Standards, Corporate Sustainability Reporting. In his earlier stint with UEM India (P) Ltd., Utkal Asbestos Limited, Enhanced WAPP Systems Pvt. Ltd., Fontus Water Ltd. he has worked in wastewater treatment system as design engineer. He has developed CDM projects in a various areas which include methane recovery from wastewater, Solid Waste Management and composting, Waste to energy projects with Urban development Authorities. He was also involved in developing of CDM projects in MSW Composting projects for a biotech company in North East, wind power, sugar cogeneration and methane recovery and power generation in Distilleries, biomass based power generation and fuel switch and power generation and community based biogas programmes. He has experience in undertaking various feasibility and assessment studies for Waste management, CDM scoping and CDM project development in different types of industries and also done strategy development for adopt and implement Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) based CDM projects in Orissa supported by DFID. He has worked with different medium and heavy industries under sectors like Asbestos‐cement, Sugar and distilleries, chemical and petrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals and bulk drugs, paper & pulp, Tanneries and tobacco industries in the waste management sector.

Barendra Sahoo, Senior Consultant: Education: PG, Rural Development Years of Experience: 15 years

Barendra Sahoo has over 18 years of experience in survey research in Operation Research Group. He has been working in the areas of bio‐diversity assessment, environment assessment, and social assessment areas with several clients such as the World Bank, DFID, UNDP, etc. Since last fifteen years he has been working on issues relating to livelihood, water and sanitation, rural energy issues, Micro‐ finance, Health, Education, Mining and socio‐economic areas. He has managed various assignments in these areas and is a key member of the Social Transformation Group. His recent assignment includes conducting Social Assessment Study for the Orissa Community Tank Management Project, Role of SHG in Fishery Sector, fuel usage study in rural household in Orissa, M.P, Afforestation and Reforestation Project in Orissa etc.

Goutam Banik, Senior Consultant: Education: PG [Energy Mgmt.], Accredited Energy Manager – BEE Years of Experience 06 Years

Goutam Banik is a Postgraduate in Energy Management from Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management, Kolkata has exposure in the field of renewable energy feasibility study, CDM, GHG Accounting (Member of India’s first GHG accounting cell), energy audit and energy management. Developed Business Plan on Market analysis, Target market segment, Competition & Buying patterns, Investment etc., prepared CDM guide notes, Involved as a mentor in project of CDM potential assessment in India and working as a member of CDM business development. Presently, he is involved in Carbon Foot Printing projects for various companies and Afforestation‐Reforestation, Energy Efficiency, Fuel switch and biomass based CDM projects.

Papia Chakraborty, Senior Consultant: Education: PG [Energy Mgmt.], Accredited Energy Manager – BEE Years of Experience 05 Years

Papia Chakraborty is a Postgraduate in Energy Management from Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management, Kolkata with expertise in renewable energy, Energy audit and energy management, GHG Accounting (Member of India’s first GHG accounting cell), CDM and climate change, assessment studies etc. She has worked in the area of Renewable Power Plant Feasibility and Socio‐ Economic Analysis and Demand analysis of TERI’s project on Master Plan Preparation for Electrification in Off Grid Island of Indian Sunderban. She has experience in undertaking various feasibility and assessment studies for renewable energy, CDM scoping and CDM project development in different types of industries and also done strategy development for adopt and implement renewable energy based CDM projects in Orissa supported by DFID. Currently she is working on waste heat recovery based power generation, biomass based and rural electrification CDM projects.

Dr. Somnath Hazra, Senior Consultant Education: PhD Environmental Economics Years of Experience 10 Years

Dr. Somnath Hazra has immense experience in policy and field level research, analysis and advocacy on forest conservation and management at both micro and macro level. He is competent in developing livelihood strategies relating to forestry for the civil society organizations. He has knowledge of different project planning tools like logical Framework Approach and Project Cycle Management. He had been State level researcher and analyst on forest conservation and livelihoods with special focus on bio resource governance, sustainable harvesting, livelihood security for local communities, climate change etc. He had been part of various forest programme planning, monitoring and evaluation, and training both to grassroots groups and resource agencies.

Dr. Natabar Rout, Senior Consultant Education: PhD Hydrology Years of Experience 18 Years

Dr. Natabar Rout is doctorate degree holder in Hydrogeology from Utkal University and has more than 15 years of experience in the areas of Integrated Water Resource Management, River Basin Management, Watershed Management, Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Management and Disaster Management. Has expertise in project co‐ordination, research, evaluation, training, management and operation of multi‐disciplinary teams including administration, Project monitoring, institutional development, policy influencing, advocacy and liaison with bilateral agencies, government organization, Industrial and Corporate houses, NGOs and communities.

Nasir Ali, Senior Consultant: Education: M.Phil Political Science Years of Experience 24 Years

Nasir Ali holds a Masters and M.Phil degree in Political studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University with more than 2 decades of experience in managing and executing development programmes in various capacities. He has expertise in project design and implementation; results‐based management; monitoring and evaluation; research and research programme management; training and the communication of research outputs. His core areas of interest include Community Health and Nutrition, Gender, Primary Education, Poverty eradication‐ Community centric, NRM, Good Governance and M&E. He was directly associated with policy research and advocacy activities for last ten years as part of his assignment in NIAHARD, OSCARD, CUSIP, IPD and CYSD. He has rich experience of multi‐stakeholder dialogues involving parliamentarians, Legislators, PRIs, Administrators, Civil Society actors, Donors and Community based institutions. He has sound experience in handling Advocacy Projects, including proposal development and documentation. During his stint with CYSD, NIAHARD, OSCARD and CUSIP he has managed NGO partnerships. He has very rich experience of designing training plan, modules and materials based on TNA and professional advice. I am also very familiar with convergence strategies to link stakeholders for goal attainment.

Dr. Hemant Satapathy, Senior Consultant Education: PhD Economics Years of Experience 21 Years

Dr. Satapathy is a Ph.D in Economics with more than Two decades of experience in research, consultancy, capacity building, program / project execution, , action research, M & E and rural decentralization. He has handled different projects sponsored by bi‐lateral and multilateral international and national agencies like DFID, World Bank, UNDP, EU, NABARD, SIDBI, LWS, CAPART, CORDAID, MEMISA, MESIRIOR, CARITAS and BD. He was the team leader of Research and Performance assessment of NGO implemented Development Projects during his carrier in XIMB. To his Credit Dr Satapathy has conducted more than 25 Research Projects in the capacity of Team Leader and Principal investigator. He has experience on developing and designing Development Projects in LFA method. He has served as consultant to OXFAM, India and given critical inputs in establishing M& El system in four Development Projects implemented by the partner NNGOs. of OXFAM. Dr. Satapathy has also hands on experience in Development Training.

Swapna Tripathy, Senior Manager HR: Education: MBA [HR] Years of Experience 09 Years

Swapna Tripathy is a programme management specialist having experience in proposal development and transaction support. She has worked in the areas of project MIS development, quality review of the CDM projects and programme management. She has handled capacity building initiatives and consultation workshops. She has a good understanding of the International Development agenda of bilateral and multilateral donors and possesses skills in desk research and report writing. Her recent assignment includes conducting social assessment study for the Orissa Community Tank Management Project funded by the World Bank with special emphasis on preparing a gender strategy. She also handles all the HR related issues for the organization.

Brijesh Singh, Senior Consultant Education: PGDFM [IIFM] Years of Experience 06 Years

Brijesh had done Master from Indiana University – Bloomington School of Public and Environmental Affairs in Environment Policy and Natural Resources Management and also Postgraduate Diploma in Forest Management from Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM). He had done worked on the issues related Environmental Policy Analysis and develop sustainable and environmentally responsible solutions for the future. He has worked on various assignments in Climate Change Adaptation, Environmental Economics, Ecological Economics, Natural Resource Accounting, Macro Economics Forestry and Land Use Planning in Indiana University. He has specific exposure in working in natural resource management, watershed and Policy Research in Environmental Economics. Dr. Ishtiyak Ahmad, Consultant Education: Ph.D Forestry Science Years of Experience 04 Years

Peerzada Ishtiyak Ahmad is a Doctorate in Forestry Sciences from Forest Research Institute of India, Dehradun. He has also qualified National Eligibility Test in Forestry & Environmental Sciences and has degree of M.Sc and B.Sc in Forestry Sciences. Dr Ishtiyak has several publications in journals of national and international repute. He has successfully carried out studies on various academic assignments in Phytosociology and exploitation status of Taxus baccata in Himachal Pradesh, Development of new technique of vegetative propagation for tree species and Practical field training on Forest Management in Jammu & Kashmir. He has worked in various project based capacities in the premier forestry research organization of the country like Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education and Forest Research Institute of India. He has a work exposure in baseline data generation and impact assessment for ecological environment and formulation of biodiversity management plans including EIA and EMP reports; Assessment of biological environment (ecology, biodiversity of terrestrial environment) Conducting field survey & preparation of status reports; Afforestation and reforestation plans, Plantation and nursery technology including propagation techniques; surveys on NTFP collection, consumption, and marketing.

Deepak Sahoo, Associate Consultant: Education: PG [Botany] Ph.D –Pursuing Years of Experience 04 Years

Deepak Kumar Sahu is a postgraduate in Botany from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. Currently he is pursuing his Ph. D in Botany (Taxonomy) He has working experience in esteemed institutions like Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology (CSIR) and Regional Plant Resource Center (RPRC), Bhubaneswar in the field of exploration, identification of plants, biodiversity assessment, herbarium study, etc. Due to his interest in snakes, he was also an active member of Snake Helpline group for quite sometimes. He has some scientific papers in national and international journals and a book review article to his credit. Presently he is associated with the OFSDP project.

B.V.S Nagaraju, Associate Consultant Education: B.Tech (Electronics] Years of Experience 02 Years

Nagaraju is graduated in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from JNTU, Kakinada having expertise in electrical machines and power system. He has worked on electrical energy audit and manufacturing of electrical machines in BHEL, Hyderabad. At present he is involved in Energy audit and management, Energy audit software development, CDM, Research and Development.

Jayanta is a Postgraduate in Energy Management from Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management, Kolkata, West Bengal. Experienced in Climate change advisory study, green house gas accounting and reporting, strategising adaptation and mitigation initiatives and facilitating registration of cleaner initiatives under international treaty for climate change (Kyoto Protocol) for enhancing financial viability. Biranchi Padhi is a postgraduate in Anthropology with more than 17 years of experience in Social and Developmental sector dealing with program implementation and Research work in drawing sustainable livelihood system in rural mass. He was involved in managing the projects and the partner NGOs, while working in XIM and CARE. He has been actively associated in designing of survey tools, data analysis, process documentation and report preparation work. He has also dealt with the Research oriented projects in association with NEWCONCEPT, Pragna Research Consultancy, in addition to the project management in the field level and administrative process. He has vast knowledge in computation of data, analysis using SPSS software and qualitative analysis including process documentation and preparation of Report in different key result areas like, Health and sanitation, Livelihood, rural development, SHG and Micro credit, etc

Sudhanshu Shekhar Tiwary

Sudhanshu is a post graduate with more than 14 years of experience in the field of rural development. He brings forth extensive experience in Managing and facilitating a team of rural development professional and activist, Monitoring & Evaluation, Documentation & Analysis, and Training on different rural development based projects and environmental research. Sudhanshu has been involved in Managing different rural development projects and programmes besides providing technical support to the preparation of Comprehensive District Plan, District Vision Document, Annual Plan of BRGF and Participatory City Development Plan. He has worked on projects supported by international donor agencies including DFID, OXFAM Trust, etc. Apart from his experience in managing rural development projects he has also managed programmes on disaster management and also provided support to different NGOs in Bihar for effective management of different rural development project on various issues

Rajesh Kumar Jena

Rajesh Kumar Jena is a PGDMN(Post Graduate Diploma in Management of NGO) from EDII, Ahmadabad and has more than eight years of experience in social development, in the areas of Tribal Empowerment, HIV/AIDS, Micro planning, Capacity building, Rehabilitation & Resettlement and implementation of community based projects. He has been involved in various activities like project planning, preparation of training module and developing process for project implementation and management. Currently he is involved in Enhancing the Livelihoods of Forest Dependents of Simlipal Biosphere Reserve & it’s supported by RBS (Royal Bank of Scotland) and Value chain of Ginger and Ginger products supported by ICAR‐NAIP.

Chamundra Kujur

Chamundra Kujur is a Master in Social Work (MSW); with specialization in “Rural and Urban Community Development”, from Indore School of Social Work, Indore, Devi Ahilya Viswa Vidyalaya, Indore. He has 7 years of experience in the field of community development and capacity building. Mr. Kujur brings forth extensive experience of working with VSO under its capacity building project in Mangolia and provided Institutional management support to different CSOs and GOs working on the community development projects. He has been involved in undertaking assignments on different community development projects supported by international donor agencies including World Bank, UNDP, Messerior and Concern worldwide, Indo‐Canada Environment Facilities (ICEF) besides working on Government supported projects. Apart from his grass root experience in directly working under various projects on community development in various states like Orissa, M.P. he has wide experiences in team management and Liaisoning with different stakeholders .

Upendra Kumar Panda

Upendra a Science graduate from Utkal University, has over eight years of experience in conducting various social development research projects. Expertise in Qualitative & Quantitative Data Collection (through Structured/Semi‐Structured Questionnaire & PRA techniques) and Data Analysis, Preparation of Questionnaire for Survey work, conducting Action Research/Survey/Study independently and through team effort and Field Management in Programme implementation and Research initiatives.

Gangadhar Acharya

Gangadhar an Arts Graduate, has over twenty years of experience in conducting various social development research projects and in the field of research with primary and secondary data compilation. He has vast experience in conducting Quantitative and Qualitative studies in different parts of Orissa and other parts of the country. He has been actively involved in M&E projects of Health, R&R, Forestry, Socio‐economic studies and Education etc. He has experience in coordination with the government officials for secondary data from various departments like Mining, Health, Panchayati Raj, Water Resources, Education etc. He has also worked on various assignments with the bilateral agencies. Since last sixteen years he has been working on issues relating to livelihood, water and sanitation, rural energy issues, Micro‐finance, Health, Education, Mining and socio‐economic areas. He has managed various assignments in these areas and is a key member of the Social Transformation Group.
