Read Ebook {PDF EPUB} Future Remains by Robert Jack Jack Hermansson eyes future fights with Robert Whittaker and Paulo Costa. Swedish born-Norwegian Hermansson (22-6) bounced back from his disappointing loss to Marvin Vettori by beating young buck Edmen Shahbazyan (11-2) by a unanimous points decision in Las Vegas on Saturday night. Now with Shahbazyan out of the way, Hermansson has turned his attention to the top of the division as he mulls over his next possible move. "I want to be fighting guys like Robert Whittaker, Paulo Costa, the winner of Brunson and Till could be a potential fight, so yeah, those guys," Hermansson said (via MMA Junkie). "It depends when I have a good opponent, but I want one more fight this year for sure. If any of the big guys are ready for me this year, I’m up for it." It was Hermansson's first victory in 2021, indeed his first win since beating Kelvin Gastelum July 2020, and he had to do it the hard way, after Shahbazyan picked him apart in the stand-up for the majority of the first round. The 23-year-old found some success early in the second round, only for Hermansson to turn things around and swing the momentum in the other direction, and 'The Joker' admitted it was a relief to get back to winning ways. "I’m really happy I got the victory, especially after having COVID and stuff. I didn’t know how my body was going to react out there," he added. "I wasn’t happy with the first round of the fight. I couldn’t find my timing or anything like that, but as the fight went, I managed to change my approach and get the fight to the ground and do what I do best." Why 'Back to the Future 4' Won't Happen, According to Co-Writer Bob Gale. Every time you see a rumor about BTTF 4, remember this explanation from Gale. In an age rampant with sequels, prequels, and the importance of franchised IP, Back to the Future remains untouched. Back to the Future Part III hit theaters in 1990, and since then, that’s been the end of the series. Fans have always wondered about why there wouldn’t be another installment when every other beloved franchises seems to keep going back to the well, so on The Collider Podcast, we asked our guest, Back to the Future trilogy co-writer Bob Gale , why exactly there won’t be a Back to the Future 4 . Image via Universal Pictures. Gale explained there was a creative aspect and then the rights aspect. First, the creative answer: “We told a complete story with the trilogy. If we went back and made another one, we’d have Michael J. Fox, who will be sixty next year, and he has Parkinson’s Disease. Do we want to see Marty McFly at age sixty with Parkinson’s Disease? Did we want to see him at age fifty with Parkinson’s Disease? I would say ‘No, you don’t want to see that.’ And you don’t want to see Back to the Future without Michael J. Fox. People say, ‘Well, do it with somebody else.’ Really? Who are you going to get? All you’re gonna do is beg comparisons to the originals, and you’re not going to match up. And we’ve seen this repeatedly with sequels that go back to the well after many, many years, and they go ‘Ah, well, The Phantom Menace , maybe my life would have been better if I hadn’t seen it.’ There are a lot of extra sequels like that. We didn’t want to be those guys who did a movie that was basically a moneygrab. Universal says to us, ‘You’d guys would make a whole lot of money,’ but we’re like, ‘Well, we’ve already made a whole lot of money with these movies, and we like them just the way they are. And as proud parents, we’re not going to sell our kids into prostitution.’” Then he went into an explanation about the rights: We have an understanding with Spielberg and Amblin that there would never be another Back to the Future movie without our blessing or being involved. So it’s not going to happen. Personally, I think that’s a relief. We don’t need a fourth Back to the Future movie. The trilogy is pretty much perfect as it is, and we don’t need a fourth installment dragging things down, especially for the reasons that Gale illustrates. Juliette Binoche and Rosemarie DeWitt co-star in the limited series, which hails from director Antonio Campos. Matt Goldberg has been an editor with Collider since 2007. As the site's Chief Film Critic, he has authored hundreds of reviews and covered major film festivals including the Toronto International Film Festival and the Sundance Film Festival. He resides in Atlanta with his wife and their dog Jack. Detroit Red Wings: Jack Eichel is not going to be part of the Yzerplan. The Detroit Red Wings have transitioned their focus to the offseason, and one of the hot commodities this offseason is a Buffalo Sabres star. Jack Eichel has been at the forefront of some rumors about his future with the Sabres organization. It sure seems that Eichel and the organization are out of touch and have a bit of a disconnect going on. That being said, the trade rumors have been buzzing around in the media. The Detroit Red Wings could pull a surprise at any time. The “BREAKING NEWS” alert about Steve Yzerman making a drastic change to the Yzerplan could come at any moment. But, there are a few road bumps in the plan for it goes anywhere. The Sabres are figuring out which direction they want to move in, but non-committal answers from Eichel make it seem like he is on the way out. The bigger question needing to be asked is where will he be traded? Detroit is not going to be on the top of that list, and if Eichel is a part of the Yzerplan, I would be shocked. Eichel is going to want to win and win now. The Red Wings are not winning in the immediate future, and that is pretty clear. The Detroit Red Wings are going to steer clear of trading for Jack Eichel. More from Detroit Jock City. Besides Eichel being better suited for a team like Boston, who is rumored to be interested in the former Boston University forward, the Red Wings should not be in the market for him. There is a lot to consider when it comes to making a run for Eichel. The cost on Eichel will be quite high, and I personally do not think Yzerman will want to part ways with draft capital or top-rated prospects. Yzerman has done a great job working to build draft capital and bringing in good prospects. Jeopardizing this for Eichel seems like it might not be in the best interest. While yeah, a 24-year old former second overall draft choice joining the Red Wings sounds like a great idea, the likelihood he would come here and be happy is what seems like the tough part. Look at Patrik Laine in Columbus after being traded. He is still a good player but finds himself on the bench late in games after he and the coaching staff butt heads. It just seems like Eichel coming to Detroit might not be best for the organization. Mostly because of what the Red Wings would be giving up and the uncertainty of his true fit, it seems like steering clear is best. Ultimately, Yzerman and the front office have the final say, but I would be surprised to see Eichel join the Yzerplan before the 2021-22 season begins. Detroit Red Wings: Steve Yzerman remains mum on Jeff Blashill’s future. Expect Yzerman to work some magic for this Detroit Red Wings team; just do not expect it to be Jack Eichel. Tom Holland Says He's Had Conversations about a 'Back to the Future' Reboot. But such a reboot will probably never happen according to original director Robert Zemeckis. The way you know that there's never going to be a Back to the Future reboot any time in the near future is that Universal would have rebooted it by now if they could. This isn't a case of "Oh, we haven't found the right take yet." They literally haven't even hired a writer or a producer or anything that would reboot the classic time-travel adventure trilogy. But that doesn't mean they can't talk about it with people. Image via Sony Pictures Releasing. Tom Holland was recently put into a Back to the Future deepfake with Robert Downey Jr. , and he was asked about it during an interview with BBC Radio 1 [via ScreenRant]. Holland replied: I’d be lying if I said there hadn’t been conversations in the past about doing some sort of remake, but that film is the most perfect film- or one of the most perfect films, one that could never be made better. That said, if [Robert Downey Jr.] and I could just shoot that one scene that they remade for fun - he could pay for it cause he’s got loads of money - I would do it for my fee and we could remake that scene. I think we owe it to deep fake because they did such a good job. … I think I’m gonna speak to Robert and see if we can try to recreate something for deep fake. Here's the thing, I fully believe Holland maybe had a conversation with someone at Universal or some producer about a remake of Back to the Future where he's in the Marty McFly role. But anyone is allowed to talk about remaking Back to the Future . Here what original director Robert Zemeckis had to say about the prospect of another Back to the Future to The Telegraph [via Vanity Fair] back in 2015: “Oh, God no,” he said. Fortunately, Zemeckis and his writing partner Bob Gale have the rights to the original trilogy and the final word on whether or not Hollywood can take the McFly saga for another spin. Zemeckis went on to say, “That can’t happen until both Bob and I are dead. And then I’m sure they’ll do it, unless there’s a way our estates can stop it.” So there you have it. Tom Holland will just have to live with being Spider-Man and possibly Nathan Drake if Uncharted ever happens, but Marty McFly remains off limits. Cast: Where Are They Now? CBS' Everybody Loves Raymond is considered to be one of the best sitcoms of all time, but what has the cast been up to since it ended in 2005? Everybody Loves Raymond was hugely popular when it aired on CBS in the late 90s and early 00s. The sitcom was about an Italian American man and his family living in Long Island, NY, not far from his overbearing and stereotypically Italian parents and his older brother, still living at home with them. The show covered the daily happening of Raymond's life as a sportswriter, along with his opinionated wife Debra and their three young children. His mother would often meddle in their life (and Ray would let her) and passively-aggressively insult Debra. And his brother would constantly remind everyone that Raymond was the favorite son. The show ended in 2005 after nine seasons. Where is everyone from the cast today? 10 (Ray Barone) The star and title character from the show, Romano remains best known for this role, though he has since appeared in many other high-profile projects, including voicing Manny in Ice Age and its sequels and in a recurring role in Parenthood . But his biggest roles since include the film The Big Sick , the Netflix epic crime film The Irishman , and the short-lived series Vinyl. He currently appears in the series Get Shorty, a role he has held since 2017. 9 Patricia Heaton (Debra Barone) Heaton returned to the sitcom world quickly after Everybody Loves Raymond ending up in a major role in the sitcom The Middle , which went on for several seasons. Since 2019, she has appeared as the lead in CBS sitcom Carol's Second Act. Heaton has three Emmys to her name for Everybody Loves Raymond and remains one of the most sought-after sitcom actors around. 8 Brad Garrett (Robert Barone) Garrett, who played Ray's brother Robert, has starred in a number of sitcoms since this series ended, including How to Live with Your Parents (For the Rest of Your Life) back in 2013, and most recently, I'm Dying Up Here . He currently appears as a main character in the sitcom Single Parents. Garrett also continues to lend his signature deep voice to many animated characters, most recently as Cameo in Ralph Breaks the Internet and Eeyore in Christopher Robin. He also does stand-up comedy and works as a professional poker player. 7 Doris Roberts (Marie Barone) Sadly, Roberts, who was a long-time actor since the 50s, passed away in 2016 at the age of 90. She had worked in television, movies, and theater, first gaining attention for her role in Remington Steele in the 80s before becoming Raymond's hilariously passive-aggressive and overbearing mother on this show. She went on to appear in films like Madea's Witness Protection and as a guest on talk, variety, and game shows prior to her death. 6 Peter Boyle (Frank Barone) Boyle predeceased his TV wife by a decade, sadly passing away not long after Everybody Loves Raymond wrapped up in 2006 at the age of 71. Acting since the 70s, he gained attention for roles in films like Joe, The Candidate , and as Frankenstein's monster in Young Frankenstein. And, of course, as Ray's surly and stern yet loving dad Frank. His last acting job was in the film All Roads Lead Hom e, which ended with a dedication to the late actor. 5 Madylin Sweeten (Ally Barone) Playing one of the three Barone children on the series (along with her real-life twin brothers), Sweeten has gone on to appear in small roles since the series ended. Now 28, her most notable credits since 2005 include working as a sketch actor on the series TMI Hollywood , and executive producing and co- writing a 2014 short called Wedding Frisk . She most recently had minor roles in Grey's Anatomy and Lucifer. 4 Sawyer Sweeten (Geoffrey Barone) Sadly, Sweeten committed suicide in 2015 at the age of 19, two weeks shy of turning 20. Romano called him a "wonderful and sweet kid to be around" and Heaton said he was a "funny and exceptionally bright young man." He had not done any acting since the series ended but did have small roles at the same time the show was on, including in the movie Frank McKlusky, C.I. and the series Even Stevens . 3 Sullivan Sweeten (Michael Barone) Not much is known about Sweeten, twin brother to the late Sawyer and younger brother to Madylin, who played his older sister on the show. It is known, however, that Sullivan was living with his brother at the time of his death. It is presumed that he has moved out of the spotlight and works outside of acting, not surprising given the trauma he would have suffered following his brother's death. 2 Monica Horan (Amy MacDougall) Playing Amy, Robert's on and off girlfriend throughout the series who eventually becomes his wife, Horan remains best known for this role. But fun fact: she ended up marrying the executive producer of the show in real life, Philip Rosenthal. Since the show ended, she appeared in a guest role on the series Hot in Cleveland, as well as on her former co-star Heaton's show, The Middle. Her latest role was in an episode of Better Things . 1 Andy Kindler (Andy) Playing Raymond's friend and fellow sportswriter on the show, Andy is a comedian like Romano in real life. He appeared regularly on Late Show with David Letterman and was a contributor on . His most notable recent role is as the voice of Mort on the animated series Bob's Burgers. Most recently, he appeared in three episodes of I'm Dying Up Here and in episodes of Lady Dynamite, Another Period, and Portlandia.
