ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. OBITUARY Lyndon H. LaRouche, Jr. (1922–2019) Lyndon H. LaRouche, Jr., the American economist and statesman who compiled, between 1957 and 2007, the most accurate record of economic forecasting in the world, passed away on February 12, 2019. The author of thousands of articles and over 100 books and book- length pamphlets and strategic studies, LaRouche was one of the most controversial political figures in all of American history. One reason for this was LaRouche’s proud, vigorous, and enduring Presidential campaign, 1976–2004, to re- establish American Constitutional self-government fol- lowing the 1963–1968 assassinations of John F. • Larouche in Italy: Take the Lead for Eurasian Development
EIRFeature LaRouche in Italy: Take the Lead for Eurasian Development by Claudio Celani For the second time in a month, Lyndon LaRouche visited Italy, a country where he has high recognition and where, last year, the national Chamber of Deputies approved a resolution calling for a “new world financial architecture” oriented toward productive investment, not speculation—as LaRouche’s proposed New Bretton Woods system specifies. From May 5-8, LaRouche paid a visit to the northern Italian cities of Vicenza and Milan, holding public events and private meetings. In this trip, as in the previous one, LaRouche called on Italian leaders to break with the new “Roman imperial” policy of the Bush Administration, and to join ranks with its European allies in organizing for a Eurasian development policy (see EIR, April 25). Italy plays a special role in the Eurasian project, because of its natural projection into the Mediterranean Sea, toward the Mideast, which is the crossroads between Eurasia and Africa. A special feature of LaRouche’s visit this time was the expansion of the LaRouche Youth Movement to Italy. Vicenza: A High-Export Region On May 5, LaRouche was the main guest speaker at a conference at the Vicenza Chamber of Commerce, organized by EIR and by the International Strategic Politi- cal Economic Institute (ISIES), founded by a group of businessmen from the region. Vicenza represents a singularity known to LaRouche, who was there already in July 2001: A city of 200,000, Vicenza has a high density of small and medium- sized enterprises, and alone exports more than the nation of Greece.

  • Effekten Af En Rapport Og Larouche’S Metode Mod 130 Globale Banker

Because, as the Fusion Energy Foundation goes, so goes the na tion. Think about it. Our rapid growth in 1980 meant that the McCormack fusion bill became law and made possible America's renewed commitment to scientific progress. But making progress costs money. The FEF and the United States face greater challenges in 1981. And as we grow and expand our activities, we can ensure that the new administration fulfills its mandate for economic growth. In 1979 alone, more than 22 million dollars was given to zero-growth groups by just six foundations. * Our fight requires this kind of funding—and more. You can help by giving generously to the FEF and supporting some of our special activities. • Become a corporate or lifetime member of the FEF ($1,000). • Sign up your friends and colleagues as members. • Sponsor bulk subscriptions to The Young Scientist in your area's schools. • Purchase the FEF slide show on fusion to educate your friends and community. 1980 was a year of progress for the FEF and the nation.

This study examines Tatums, Oklahoma, under the assumption that the historically black towns (HBT) developed as a response to conditions in the South. This community provides a rich example of the apparent anomalies that the environment of self-segregation created. Despite the widespread violence of the Klan, the residents of the HBTs were not the targets of lynching or mob violence. During the years after World War II, Tatums residents enjoyed the greatest prosperity. The final chapter looks at the battle Tatums’ residents fought to keep their school from being closed after the state of Oklahoma began to enforce the Brown v. Board of Education decisions in the 1960s. Their solidarity during the desegregation transition remained powerful enough for them to negotiate compromises regarding the fair treatment of their children in a world that was integrating around them.
