The scope of all units is widened to include activities in the community. Activities include indepth identification of hazards, opportunities for problemsolving, and exploration of attitudes. The natural laws_which affect vehicles and pedestrians are also presented. Each unit is divided into general topic concepts-, with each topic including behavioral objectives, content outline, and suggested activities. Each unit also contains material for the teacher:to present to the class or to use as background information, artwork and other worksheets for use as reproduction masters, and resource lists.
