- The epidemiological curve of AWD cases shows the highest picks in the 27th and 29th week ,then the curve started to decline in the 39th week due to project intervention in health and wash sections.

38 39 FOOD SECURITY 26415 Beneficiary Households PROJECT Food security in Yemen has deteriorated since the beginning of the conflict at the end of March 2015. An estimated 17 million people, which is equivalent to 60% of the total Yemeni population, are food insecure and require urgent humanitar- ian assistance to save lives. Among those, approximately 7.1 million people are in ‘Emergency Phase’ according to Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) analysis. Targeted Districts • Lahj ( Tuban,AlHawta, Radfan and AlMusaymir). • Hadramout (Huraidhah, Rakhyah, Amd, Hagar As Sai’ar, Zamakh wa Manwakh and Al Qaf).

Targeting Criteria: Households with children under five years registered in curative activities for SAM or MAM. IDPs living in public camps, shelters, without sources of income and no means of accessing food. Households from socially and economically marginalized communities (mohamasheen) who do not have any sources of food. Households headed by females/widowed who live independently with their children and have no means of income. Vulnerable households headed by physically challenged persons and chronically ill persons without bread winners.
