It is envisioned to assist Air Traffic Services (ATS) personnel in the efficient and effective management of their respective facilities. This CAR-ANS Part 2 was developed based on the Standards and Recommended Practices prescribed by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Annex 10 Volume II – Communication Procedures including those with Provisions of Air Navigation Service (PANS) status and other ICAO related documents which comprises the basic principles in aeronautical telecommunications and aimed particularly as a guidance in exercising operational functions of the Air Traffic Services in their respective facilities as well as aircraft operators management including crews. The procedures embodied herein are issued by authority of the Director General of the CAAP and will be complied with by all concerned.
