Abstract
Jeju Island, being located off southwestern coast of the Korean Peninsula,is the largest volcanic island in
Korea. The marine environment around Jeju Island is highly complicated, and provides affluent biodiversity of
fishes.A new list of the fishes of Jeju Island, including a total of 665 species,is given on the bases of both 348
voucher specimens and the related references to the ichthyofauna of Jeju Island.
